Now I know this has come up before, but thought we could do with an update, as it's constantly changing biggrin
On the other hand, if it gets too boring or judged silly, please lock , delete, destroy or bin as apropriate :D
Well, I spoke to the old man about 2 weeks ago and got him to send over all of his music files that he'd stuck on his pc, from his collection.....so I could load them into my pc, to have a gander at.............
Unfortunately now getting scared as quite liking this said music....
The one that is coming to mind and really sets the mood at the mo................is Santana....samba pa ti
so anyone got a new flavour of the month cool
I swear, i could be enormously hung over, not slept in days.....the works....and I'd hear this song,,,,,,,,and all would be forgotten and would put me straight in the mood
of course, I'd probably have to have a shower to clean up before any one would even think about participating in my mood, but c'est la vie rolleyes

Its been a long wait but Precious by Depeche Mode is superb smile
The tune haunting my brain at the moment has to be Katie Melua's Nine Million Bicycles.....
The melody....... the words................
Second and third most played on the ipod are SugaBabes..... Too Lost In You.... and The Killers ..... Mr. Brightside...... another favourite is Green Day.... When Spetember Comes.... but not the video to it.... can't watch it...

I have heard of Santana! Who all the others, mentioned here, are... I'll be jiggered if I know!
LOL, I'll get round to modern music, in about 40 yrs, I guess.
*Wanders off, polishing her Crazy Diamond*
RRemember when we were young......?

Forget about the new stuff, put Pink Floyd on every time for me. Often imitated, never bettered.

justin hayward - forever autumn.
just a great song.
but u can't beat the floyd, shine on crazy diamond is also a great.
but to get really get the mood, nothing like the late, great, barry white.
pure class.

Excellent, ES - Caravan are one of my (many) favourite groups too.
I'm currently listening to Chantal Kreviazuk - I especially like her version of Leavin' On A Jet Plane...
In the mood ??
For what ??
Two tracks (lol - db gets hip. They used to be called songs) both by Van Morrison.
Because someone dragged me kicking and screaming recently from the "Dark Side of the Street" and plonked me firmly an unceremoniously on the "Bright End of the Road"
What made that so genuine - and special, is that she didn't even know she was doing it. I'm not sure she does, even now.
The other - Moondance.
"Marvellous night for a moondance"
I just can't help when I hear it but to think of shagging on the patio
