Ii I where you I'd look into serial killing...it's not a popular hobby but those involved seem to find it very satisfying

Brucie take up public speaking, join a debating group or the like. I think that would be a challenge. Who for I don't know but a challenge nonetheless

Not unpopular either

Warning, Tasers can be an occupational hazard of this way of life
that list would make an interesting "come dine with me " series don`t you think

but a hobby is for avoiding dealing with real things in life???

But you say your life is empty, so there is no life to avoid.
My hobby is my escapism, it has allowed me to be creative, to travel, I have gained knowledge and new friends.
And so when I get a little time to myself, I log on to forums (other than the ones connected to my hobby) and I read threads like this where the OP whines that he/she can't do something for themselves, they have to ask others what to do, then be dismissive of the answers that come back.
Man up, it's a big world outside the comfort zone in your bubble.

Is that like Star Trek conventions and stuff?
Get yerself a band, I believe there is a market for Wurzel tribute acts that is booming.
