My search button is broken....

Well I think it is anyway....
I typed in the key words of... Kent, SE, Munch and... in the author part I typed Smokerjim
I hit enter... and 4911 enteries come back....
You lot are always shouting how the search button is our friend... So, can someone please teach me how to use it properly... redface

I know I know.. this will no doubt get locked in 10 minutes.. but I am trying surprised

Try selecting the box that says "Search for ALL terms", you probably left the default one checked which will show posts with any of those words rather than all of those words. What are you looking for, sweetie?

i never use search button i just post and if they lock it, they lock it :lol2:

Thanks marms... as always your words of wisdom have done me well biggrin

I have found what I was looking for wink

But... it did get me thinking... surely i am not the only person on here who has these kinds of problems... maybe instead of Munches... we could start up some workshops for the computer thick peeps... just like me... and the folks who know their way round this site could share their knowledge and information...
Only a thought mind... :wink: and... it'd be a way of us getting together, learning something from each other and... having a good time if we pay attention dunno

I was actually going to post that you should go to one of the adult learning places and do a computer course but then I thought "Hold on a goddam minute, I'm talking myself out of a shag here!!! ffs.." . so.... I'll come n help ya with ya pc babes .. then we can get some more peeps down and make an evening of it......... how's that?? .......... hehehe It's a good job you know me lol!!!

Computer workshops are purely social !!!......( though i bet they wouldn't be if you were running them Wishmaster.... innocent
