I've had a number of pm's in the last 2/3 weeks asking how she is doing so I'll update you all save me some effort.
Caz's first lot of chemo didn't work properly and so she's had to undergo a more intensive treatment ... the first lot was like a drip feed over two years to kill the leukaemia, this second round kills the cells in the bone marrow.
She became very very ill from it and suffered mild heart failure/haemorraghing which totally wore her out, and after a couple of weeks in hospital managed to overcome it all She had a bone marrow test last week and the news today is that it couldn't be better :) All her blood test results are wonderful and are the best they have been for possibly 6 months or so :) :) :)
She starts the next bout of chemo on Thursday and we repeat the 6 week wait/bone marrow test results and then we start the process of bone marrow transplantation. As previously I am urging people to consider blood donation and stem cell donation - you may not be able to help us but maybe another adult or child somewhere else and nothing is more rewarding than giving a gift of life.
She's looking good :) her hair didn't completely fall out and so she's still got some (just enough to make a small poytail with  ) although she just isn't bothered, and is getting spoiled rotten by her family (which is making her a brat at times but I gess she can be forgiven that ;) )
Thanks everyone for all your support ...
