First of all applause for Lou for pulling this one up. I was cringing for you further up but then to see that you'd bumped it was a revelation worship

I had the exact same reaction this time initially that I'd had he first time. 10 out 10 for consistency but 0 out of 10 for being an opinionated prat (I think that's another 10 out of 10 for consistency innit? lol

:lol: ). Geez I'd only been a member for a few days - FFS what did I know?
The quality of the initial post makes it a truism and this time around I'd concluded the same as Kat i.e., that it was to avoid the message being tainted, before I'd read his post. So old dogs can learn some lessons after all.
A classic - and now I'm off to Ice's WELCOME thread 'cos I obviously jumped in without a welcome - stupid prat!

tell you the truth!........................i came in here..never expecting any replys!...why you say!..................... because if i wanted replies straight away i would go in to the chat room!......... and all so i cannot spell. redface

......... which took me alot of courage to post but the good peeps in the cafÃ© old me of a link that can help me with that
. i came in here just to have fun at first!....and thought any time i would get banned!.............i had no intentions of ever having any replys!..................i didn't even no that Mark was the maker of this site! surprised

........... but also the great thing that happened to me.......... or should i say us............ that through the chat room....... i got invited to my first meet up party!.......that was i big stepping stone!............sorry i cannot be more help full.....i wish i could!

I agree with what the original poster had to say, & I can understand why s/he chose to remain anonymous. I found it difficult in the early days of posting, because I felt that there was a clique, although I never thought that anyone was deliberately excluding me.

You just have to dare to be part of it - and I have got well into it in recent days - I'm aware of the complex histories/friendships etc.I have no wish to intrude,I am just trying to join in - I'm also aware that I can put a dumbass quip on a thread and it may or may not get taken up or APPEAR to be a fact though that,overall,its lovely on here,very funny when its funny,very profound when its profound.

Blandness and clichÃ© of the highest degree, insightful open hearted honesty with great happiness and sorrow. Stark and sometimes wonderful reality, obvious and covert lies universal truths. Moronic misunderstanding and intelligent frank and free exchange.
All of human life is here and that is what makes this forum the very best by a mile of its kind.
Swinging heaven shines like a light to anyone passing through, no matter how obtuse or perceptive they may be, a light that shows that the lifestyle it portrays is no simpler or less real (or less fake) than any other strata of society today.
All of human life is here, that's what makes it so good..isnt it ! ?

you just can't respond to every single post, cos all you'd have is quotes and rotflmao

etc, but the mere fact that you're joining in and contributing is enough for most. i rarely get specific replies to what i put up, but i just post away like a lunatic and hope someone out there gets something from it. i'm rarely made aware of it if they have, but hey, i have fun posting it and being involved anyways.
and Big G? all i can say to that is yeah agreed. can't add to that so won't try.
