well i've finally taken the plunge(literally) and gone to my first nude swim since divorce(partner and i used to go) its been about 3 years now since my/our last visit and from chatting to the people that were there it would appear that swinging is creeping more and more into naturism, the two do seem to go hand in hand. what gets me though is whenever you chat with a nude swim/nude club owner etc they always STATE in no uncertain terms that swinging is frowned upon but i find that 50% ?? of the people there are actively seeking others for sexual purposes, has anyone else come across this situation???
flumoxxed
People are seeking and unintentionally finding sex with people in all sorts of situations. Naturism can sometimes, but not always, assist in the process.
in my experience it is often said to be frowned upon but in reality never is
Our only experience of naturism and swinging was at the Bristol Gardens Health Spa in Brighton. We went on recommendation. To be honest we didn't enjoy the experience as we felt that the naturist there didn't like swingers. We did meet a couple there who claimed not to be swingers and then swung with us confused We Just found that the whole place made us feel uncomfortable and that we would prefer to go to a swingers club knowing thats what we were going to get.

In 10 years of landed-club naturism we never met any swingers at all. Most naturist clubs are aimed at families and any sexual activity would be more than frowned on. We know of several people whose membership redface was immediately terminated for overt flirtation.
The only places where we have encountered swingers, and that was where we discovered swinging and gave up naturism, were adult-only naturist venues, which are quite rare. However, as seagull said about Bristol Gardens, straight naturists use these places too, so swingers need to be careful so as not to cause offence.
There definitely are naturists who swing, but you would be lucky to find them doing it at naturist clubs, they usually save it for a more appropriate place where children are not present.
We went to Cap D'agde a few years ago and it was right mixture of swingers, naturists and nudists, gay, straight, etc. Something for everyone really and an excellent concept. Pity the accommodation was so crap.
Why do swingers need to go to naturist clus anyway? Surely there enough swingers clubs to choose from confused
We were looking to go to a 'club' down our way that is naturist by day (pool, sunbeds, hot tubs etc) and 'adult' (as they described) by night, after a certain time on specified dates only, with all club facitlities available including the use of 'private rooms'. I can't wait to go, hopefully if the bloody sun comes out soon we can do a 'day-to-night' visit. Sounds perfect!!!! I'll let anyone who is interested know what it was like.

We would like to know as we quite often make our way down south. Think I know which one you mean
no matter what...its always better naked lol
I go to a naturist club in North Kent that has two adult party nights a week which I really enjoy. You do not have to be a member. There is no pressure and you can have a great time. You wear what you llike or nothing at all Anything can happen and anything goes. There is a disco, heated out door pool (soon an indoor one too) Hot tub,
saunas, private rooms. Bring your own booze. Quite a few people male and female come on their own so if you want to see what it is like before bringing your partner you will not be out of place.

Bristol Gardens advertises itself as a naturist venue, but does cater for both groups. Has strict rules no sexual behaviour in the spa or top rest room areas, but for the swingers it’s the rest room on the 1st floor.
They have certainly suffered since Brighton Sun Club expanded it’s horizon, which may of driven the decision to make some changes to the first floor with a new type of rest room which they say we will enjoy.
So looks like they do accept that they need to keep both communities happy to survive
