Hi folks,
Recently we were approached by an absolutely gorgeous couple, almost too good to be true if you what we mean lol,we checked their posts to find they do not have any, and do not recall seeing them in the chatrooms. So its a little awkward knowing just how how genuine they are, presumably there are readers of this who have had simular problems ???

Then consider the fact that some ask to go to munches and wonder why they need to be vouched for - how does one decide who is genuine enough to be 'let loose' with other members?

I guess it is not too different to trying to judge someone with only 17 posts - if post count is to be any indication of people being 'genuine'

Same here. I've also met people in chat who are prolific readers of the forum but have less than a handful of posts to their name.
Post count and/or length of membership etc aren't a reliable benchmark at all, I always ask to speak on the phone to any person I'm considering meeting as I find that soon sorts the genuine from the dreamers.
thats like us......we have been members of SH for a long time, have always read the forum but never really posted........untill now, we have decided to start to get ourselves known here!!
we are 100% genuine!! and we may not post much on here but we chat some times in the chatroom and alot on msn.

I agree with you there, there are people who post who have over 2000 and from what I can see, are as see through as clingfilm! My trusting and liking of people comes from their interaction with me as a person in the form, MSN chats, PM's etc etc, little words mean much more than a "clever" posting in the forum. I only need two hands to count the ones in the forum that are genuinely nice, they know who they are

Chatting via PM's/email/msn/phone will give you a better idea and basically use good old common sense.
We've had great success with the ads using the above. There are lots of really nice genuine swingers out there, it takes time and investment though and it's not an exact science.
