Just going to move you to the cafe, as this is not a chatroom item.
What has got you vexed?
There are some other changes on their way as well, to other parts of the site.
The issue i have with the new gallery format is it doesn`t put peoples pics in the right categories, if we post pics of just me for exapmle they might get tagged as female but we are a couple and they always went in the couples gallery before, or i look in the couples gallery and click on the profile and its really a single guy but he`s with someone and is tagged as a couple, i dont really like that, i liked the couples, males, females as it used to be, atleast you knew what you`re looking at then.
The gallery is now a 'media' type section, videos and photos are in there.
When the photo is tagged the question asked is :- who is in this photo, so if it is a lone male or female, then male or female is ticked, BUT that person could be part of a couple.
There are also ticked boxes, so you can select, (for example) male...who is part of a couple...then you can select vids or photos as you wish.
Thats my point, i want to look at couples not fems/males that are tagged as couples because thats the way it looks in the pics
Do "Private" pics get put in the gallery?
Private pics are not displayed in the gallery.
Also the third row along says;
Show from Account Types:
Couples
Males
Females
So no matter what criteria you select if you check one of those boxes the results will be limited to that type of account.
ok after using this new format for a while so I could give a proper constructive view on the matter here are my thoughts:
Overall I like the new format especially as it gives you the distance away from you, although we all know that bit could be improved as it is only a rough guide to distance.
My only real problem withit is that everything is tagged by who is in the picture, If I want to look in the couples section then it should be just couples and not a single males profile with a picture of him and another girl that has no relevance to anything.
Most couples tend to put pictures of just there wife/gf on there profile so the single female section is filled up with all the couples.
When each picture is tagged why can't you tag it to the type of profile it is and not whats on it as it defiantely scewing the results of what people are looking for.
As I said overall I think you are doing very well in updating everything but this is one in my opinion needs looking at.
