Your poll options seem to indicate that you are going to change the logo regardless of the feedback. Why?
The existing one seems to sum up this community perfectly and has served SH well for sometime now. Why change it all?
If it isn't broke then don't fix it springs to mind here. These are just my thoughts on the subject, feel free to disregard them as you see fit.

If you brought a large supermarket or any other store or business, wouldn't you want to stamp you're own personal signatureon it with some obvious changes

Why would anyone attempt to change a winning package?? It's not good business and defeats the reason why the 'package' was purchased in the first place.
I actually don't care whether the logo changes or not but as a businessman this decision makes no sense whatsoever. Would Orange start calling themselves Red if someone purchased the company? Of course not, it would be marketing suicide.
I really don't wish to become embroiled in an argument, I just wanted to post my thoughts on the subject and I hope I am not coming across as antagonistic, please accept my apologies in advance if I do.

No because that would be a change of name and after all, Swinging Heaven and what that represents is what the new company have brought
I've just realised that it's yer nipples that make yer arguments so persuasive - oh that and the argument itself of course!!
We're not talking about a brand image here - one that is easily recognisable in the High Street - so it ain't really that sort of business decision.
It's perfectly valid to give a new feel to the place and I think seeking of views is what we all would want. Glad to see the owners went with the Mods on that one.
For the record I think the entire look and feel of the site is a bit amateurish and could do with a professional makeover. Functionally, it works perfect and there isn't much that I would do to change that - a few minor enhancements here and there - but I think a crisp, slick layout with professionally crafted images would do the site a power of good.
Now - while the site is in it's transition period - would be the perfect time to incorporate any changes to reflect a new start for the site.

To contradict myself as well, I like the new logo concept as I have said. However the pose of the lady in our current one is a very powerful one. Says I know what I want, and I am going to get it to me. She looks confident.
Now the new one is very demure, I like the wings and arty style, but she is still not very confident. Just another thought for the mix.

Omg...... i almost fell off the chair laughing at this one..... the logo is a bit blunt.... no soft lines.... not visually appealing...although it makes no image link to either male or femal form, so would appeal to bi, gay, and straight people perhaps.... but the motto......... definitely a winner.... lol
