New Mail
Flashes in the right hand corner of my screen when I get mail.....(on the rare occasions that is :lol2: )
You will find that when the sender rereads the PM the system thinks it has been read, therefore it is not 'new mail'.

i get mail from messanger telling me i have mail on sh lol ... are your settings correct for this ... sorry dunno how i set it up to tell messanger i have mail tho
ta hib but i knew what it was just couldnt remember how i activated it lol ... very useful thing tho esp if the sender has re read what they wrote to you so shows in sh mail as already read even if you not read it yet ... does that sound right lol ... does in my head anyway lol
Beware also that although "winks" will usually light the red flasher, they do NOT trigger the external e-mail system to alert you.
Mine works OK with both together -- the Red Flasher and the external notification.
