New mets, or regulars ?

Hi,
With the popularity of Verifications (or Reps as SH like to call it) you get to see that some people like to have fun with lots of different people. Where some like one or 2 regular play mates.
So I was wondering do people generally like to met loads and loads of different people, or do they like the odd one or 2 playmates?
Of course there is also the whole discussion about this. Some do not like to see one person too regular or it might become more of a relationship then NSA fun. Some like to met the same people as they get to know there likes and dislikes more.
So what do you like ?

What do I like? I like having Shrep turned off. For precisely this reason. I value my privacy. I don't need every man and their auntie knowing who I spend my time with. :mrgreen:

Discretion. It's more important to me than verification.

I also have my shrep disabled. I like to meet people based on how I feel about them rather than what other people have to say about them. I also prefer more nameless meets if that makes sense? More one offs rather then a regular playmate. That said, I have been off the scene for a couple of years so my opinion may change lol

We did have a regular 'friend' and met him for the last three years and do prefer it this way as you can build up trust and confidence with the person and get to know their likes/dislikes etc, but I can certainly also see the appeal of new, naughty meets :twisted:

You have a point Kaz, although I have said we prefer regular, it could also be that we have got into the 'habbit' of only meeting the same person because it is easier that way.

First to answer the OP's question, then deal with the usual subject transgretion lol

We like to meet as many people as possible, playing would be secondary to meeting people, over the years we have made hundreds of friends from the scene, mostly at the clubs we go to. Would we play with them all, god no, we would probably only play with 2% of those we have met, but we have made a lot of fantastic friends and had some great social times.
We do like to play with people who are new to us, repeat playing is ok, right time, right place, right people but we like variety and don't want to play with the same people every month.
We hate the vulcans, sorry not vulcans they are ok (a bit dry in the humour department) I mean the Cling-ons, those that play with you once and then think your going to play every time you meet or every time they see you in a club.
As for verification, shreps, validations whatever you want to call it, we love them, we verify people we have met in person, we try to tell people the important facts about them ie that they are genuine (what you see in profile is what you get), honest, sociable, turn up, can hold a converstation etc. We never say anything about playing, if we played that is private between us and them, if we have fantastic sex with someone it does not automatically mean the next person they meet will, we all like different types of fun/meets/sex. Talking about great blowjobs or fantastic tits is imaterial to the next person, knowing that they are genuine is what counts.

I love meeting people I've developed an understanding with. They are few and far between but meets with them are always fab as we have a mutual understanding of what makes each other tick sexually. I have also been lucky to be able to push my own sexual boundaries with some of the people I meet regularly in a safe environment.
However I love the more anonymous meets too. First meets can be deliciously exciting when you are exploring someone new. And sometimes you cannot recapture that the second time.
As for SHrep, I agree with the last couple of posters. I have SHrep enabled. As a Mod I feel like I should work with a new system so I can genuinely advise other members on its usage if I get asked. Now I have it enabled, has it stopped people meeting me? Not that I can tell. Are people put off by the fact I have comments on my SHrep? Be a bit daft if they were, because if they only stopped to read them then not all relate to actually meeting people anyway.
I think I agree with Tweeky, you can go off your intuition and get burned sometimes. You could just follow SHrep comments and equally have a bad meet. Probably best if you do what suits you - but no point judging others for conducting their site business differently.
Back to the OP though, because I've been thinking as I typed: I definitely can't decide which I like more. New meets or regular ones?
Can I say yes to both please?! :rascal:

When we first got into swinging we was real eager to meet lots of new people but like everyone on any site we got our fair share of meets that didn't go to plan so now we prefer to have friends we can meet often and just meet the occasional new person.
Meeting people more often is good, us and them know what to expect, know what buttons to press and get to know each other a bit, it's lots more fun all round.
