In order to assist other motorists in identifying potentially dangerous
drivers.
it's now compulsory for anyone with a lower than average
driving ability to display a warning flag, comprising of a red cross on
a white background, attached to the top of at least one door of their
vehicle.
For drivers of exceptionally low ability, additional flags are required

Other voluntary warning signs supported by the DVLA are:
Music turned up so load the road shakes!
A large drooling rottweiler on the back seat!
or
At least 5 unwashed kids making rude gestures through the windows!
(Ahhh - the joy that is football banghead :banghead: :banghead: )

I couldnt agree more with the first comment and yes it did bring a smile to my face biggrin
But Im also one of those with 3 yes 3 scruffy kids probably doing V signs to other motorist whilst im concentrating on the driving.
Simon however, suffers from the music one you dont really want to know whats in the boot of the car its deafening  Although he thinks its cool cool
My youngest sister just reckons its always someone elses fault if anything goes wrong but then again she does think she's perfick. rolleyes
I cant explain either but that was so funny harry
lol
rotflmao :rotflmao:
phew !! thanks for the pointer Harry n wendy, just managed to grab the last handfull of flags from the market and got em stuck to mrs davej's car....stuck some bunting round as well just as a belts and braces measure.
why are men so bloody rude about women drivers????
I'vegott 3 'one on each door and one on teh that mean I should be kept off the road. I'll happily do so if I can sit in front of the telly instead. Praise the lord for Football
i think its good to see all the flags, come on get behind your country and support Becks and the boys especially against the stinky french im proud to be english and show my support by flying the flag and so should you all
you are always going to get the minority of hooligans but all countries have there minority of football hooligans so its not just a britsh thing .
as for controlling these minority the police have had a special anti hooligan squad which monitor all known hooligans around the country and around europe . they have powers to enforce the removal of passports and to limit your travelling which believe it or not does work, when was the last time footy violence was on the news from an english game or england playing i bet you cant tell me can you .
but theres always the element of too much beer too much bravado and no one backs down hence trouble i should know i have seen some nasty turkish yes johnny foreigners misbehaving in chelsea in a champions league games a couple of years ago and yes they encited and started all the trouble around chelseas football ground and yes they caused alot of damage to shops, pubs and attacked people at ramdom so judy tv as an avid footy fan who has seen all sides of the game from playing to watching our fans are belive it or not well behaved compared to other nations ...... anyhow this aint a rant at you just my experience and opinion..........
The only problem with most of these flags on cars is that the poles are too short to fly the flags at half-mast when England lose. sad
Mike.
