Hi Clare and Steve, I agree with the above condition, I think it's better to restrict the list to people who are fairly or very regular participants in the forum and/or chatroom. At the same time, I suspect someone will point out soon that the spirit of an SH munch is that it is open to all. I hope this is not going to cause problems.

The requirement is there to stop people from just signing up and making a couple of posts so they can get to the could be anyone,especially people who don't even like the whole swinging thing

we posted on the lets meet up list as well as here. Remeber you don't have to give out details untill nearer the time so you can afford to allow people to become better known to yourselves before you give out the exact location etc. Also it's your munch so you invite who you want.

A lot of the people who use the forum aren't into "the whole swinging thing". There is a whole mixture of people on here. They get just as much fun out of a munch as anyone though because they get to meet the people they have been 'chatting' to without the fear of being put into a situation they don't want to be in.
The people who just sign up and say "can I come?" do pose a problem though. Nobody knows who they are and just as importantly they don't know anybody on here either. You have to use a bit of common sense. Some of the 'newbies' that asked to come to the NW munch are now posting in double figures and you feel comfortable inviting them along and others haven't posted since. I tend to stick to "must be active users of the site".
