There's also the danger of double standards encouraging tit pics and not dick pics - which has been argued before several times. From my point of view, I'd rather not have either on display; I don't think it's necessary and in fact can detract from the quality and perception of an individual's posts. Having said that, I really like Dawn-Mids' avatar because it has an element of humour in it. A static picture of a pair of breasts thrust into the eyeline is as overpowering as an erect penis - and can be as off-putting.
