NEW TO THE SCENE

Hi, we've finally made that final decision that we want to join and enjoy swinging. We have just joined this site and have found the people very friendly so far. We have yet to enjoy that FIRST EXPERIENCE redface

. Any advice on where we should go next......do we join a club............plunge right in and contact someone? Obviously like everyone else nerves are the main issue and we're worried that we will end up with a couple who will try and rush the process. From posts on here a lot of people say their first time was with a couple who took it slow with them.
Anyway enough rabbiting on I sound like a terrified virgin biggrin

God I'm so glad to read your message... My fella and I are in the same boat. Got our first party on Saturday. Good Luck and make sure you you don't over think everything (He's driving me crazy trying to organise everything when he's as cluless as me!) Have fun. The "community" seems really friendly and welcoming.

Best advice I can give would be to take things slowly, only go as far as you are comfortable with.
Ideally come along to one of the munches :D They're purely social events with likeminded people. That way you can meet people, many of them in the same boat as you, with absolutely no pressure whatsoever. A great way to put faces to names, have a chat, a couple of drinks etc, a great night out I can assure you.
Then as your confidence grows you can talk to each other about what aspect of swinging you both like and maybe explore that a bit.
There is ways and means of getting into swinging without going whole hog the first time you venture out - I'm proof of that lol

been on here months, and only just now beginning to feel more confident in exploring what I want to.
It's all about having fun and enjoying yourselves - whatever you decide, then do it for you, noone else ...... never ever go beyond your boundaries .... and just as important, talk everything through with each other. Don't push the boundaries once you are out - there's always a next time if you both decide upon it.

Hi guys, just like you we are new to all this, we only joined the forum a few days ago, but in the main they are a nice bunch, and pretty helpful. Mind you they also talk in a weird language, and say some mindless things at times.
As for tipping your toe into the waters, well what we did was go to the Toucan Club in London last tuesday for our first experience, and it was fab, we both had a great night. It was really interesting, openned our eyes and C's legs and we just dived in.
However it also openned alot of other questions, and now we are curious about doing other stuff, just to experience it.
Do what you feel most comfortable with.

Now then, whenever anyone asks for advice about what they should do next I always point them in the direction of my ad. After reading this piece of litery garbage you may want to consider the adoption scheme that is proving to be quite popular. This is the SHAP program, which stands for Swinging Heaven Adoption Process. This is where you adopt someone to act as your mentor and adviser and the beauty of the scheme is you get to keep the person you adopt if you choose the right scheme. Hi Kazsawllows and welcome to SH! All of the advice given by my esteemed colleagues is sound so I won't repeat it, apart from to say, to become a muncher stick around the forum, post, and get to know us as we get to know you. As for preferences between the chatroom and the cafe, try both and see which one you feel happiest with - or even better do both!
This scene is all about choice and on this trip you're the driver. Go with your instincts as a couple and above all relax. Looks like you've made a pretty good start.

hi to all,
we're new here, as you may have gathered, and we were grateful to see the advice given to Kaz and lee which we also found useful. We are interested in the idea of easing our way into things by attending some social functions and clubs. On this point, we have been reading the thread on the 'sex maniacs ball' which sounded wonderful. Could someone please explain what and where this is held and how we might obtain tickets for next year? Thankyou.
Is there anything else like this around? Apologies now if we're asking age old questions, we have just started enjoying this outside of the fantasy element so we're pretty lost right now. We've just come back from a nudist holiday in south of France which was a great start point and thought we would start looking around closer to home. If any one has any good clubs to recommend that would be greatly appreciated. Being clean and well run would be a pre requisite for us. Thanks. smile

woohoo! more newbies...
Just relax and don't worry about it... We've only had a couple of experiences, both at clubs and found it really good. The first we pre-arranged to meet at the club with a particular couple and the second we met up with lots of people from on here, although, strangely, we didn't have any relations with anyone on here..... Met a couple at the club and ended up with them....
We are both very young compared to most (from what we've been told) and my partner was more than happy to go at it like a bull in a china shop... I was less sure than my other half and I think it showed cos I kept being asked "Are you sure about this?". People are very understanding - everyone has to have a first time... My partner and I use the safe word system at home, but find that inappropriate when out, but if we 'prod' each other in a certain place we know we have to stop.
The only thing I have a problem with now is my beer belly, but hey, I'm only human. lol
Whatever you do, make sure you enjoy it and make sure you say no when something happens that you aren't happy about.
