ooh shoot!............i no how that feels babes!......my little girl was rushed in a the age off 6 months....with poss menogities!.......had to stay in hos for a week!...thanks she hadn't got it!

What to say? Everyone has said what I feel above so I can only mirror that.
The only thing I can add is that close friends of ours have gone through exactly the same thing over the past couple of years, but now they're coming out the other side with things looking brighter at last.
So keep your chins up and remember that this is just a difficult spell in an otherwise long and healthy life.

After all the good things you've obviously brought to the board it's about time you took something back. If it helps you to cope then it's OK with me. Forget about other peoples feelings and concentrate on you and yours.
I am lucky that although my kids been rushed to hospital a few times, they always recovered and it never turned out too serious. Nothing anyone can say can make the days and weeks ahead easier, however remember medicine improves all the time a it better to know about this and be treating it now.
Our prayers remain with you, the Doctors, and your step daughter. I hope and pray that even though it seems dark now, they will fight thought this and come out fit and healthy the other side. Wish I could do or say something to actually help, but you know we are behind you.
