nickname confusion - chatroom v forum

There seem to be a small number of people who have nicknames registered on the forum.
These same nicknames have now been chosen and registered "in all innocence" by different people in the chat room.
So when you know somebody from here, and you see the same nick in the chatroom, it might NOT be who you think it is.

We have started a conversation with a guy in the chatroom that we have actually met. It was only after saying something personal that we realised that it wasn't the same person. redface

I keep dipping my toes in the chatroom and then running away again. It's all a bit fast for me. I dunno how to do fancy stuff in there.
I do know that all those arseholes should not be PMing me without asking first, though. Thing is, I dunno how to do anything about it. I just ignore them.

Vix, when you're in there and they pvt without asking first, just post a message in the main room asking them not too. A mod will soon deal with them lol

Oh, and though I don't visit too often I'm Libra-Love in there too. There is only one of me :P God broke the mould.

i use the same name in the chatroom .Although i have realised now that my nick confuses a lot of people they think iam female ,the only reason i dont change it is a few people know me sa trix already and dont wanna confuse them so i would rather explain everytime to someone who believes iam female.

Well err.......
if it wasnt for the /nick function in chat i would alway be known as Jiggle
both in the forum and chatroom .
but becasue of the /nick function i am normally anything thing with JGL or jiggle at the start

well now that the nic is registerd in the forum and in the chat room , maybe fallenangel will be actually seen to be a nic associated with my wife , ian .
but unfortunatley the dammage is done as i said in a goodbye thread that was deleted .
we are leaving by choice and we wish u all well , i belive we are still welcome in the room
this trivial issues to u guys really was the icing on the cake for us today the end of a very depressing day following family bad news today
