Your really, really gonna hate this so leave now before i corrupt you all....
OK, in the forum, and when I'm opping in the chat room I use Ian_Mids
Why? cos my name is Ian and I live in the Midlands.
When I am not opping in the chat room, and I actually want to chat to people, I use the nic of The_Pie_Man.
This is where it goes all surreal.... OK so who knows the cartoon adverts of the Anchor Cow? There's around a dozen different ones and they have been aired for around 12 months now. "It's incredible, Anchor Spreadible"... etc etc.
Right, still with me. good. The cartoonist that created these wobbling cows is the cartoonist of weebl and bob. Excellent, funny, (but dont show ya kids). Want the web site, then either search in google or pm me.
Anyhow Weebl and Bob live for just one thing and that is PIE.
Just to show how corrupt people are, try going into the chat room one evening and starting a discussion on pie, see where it takes you.
well mine is because
a) me name is greg
and b) in my eyes i a god!!
so gregisthegod
hehehe u no it makes sense
Mine started in other forums as AnaisAnais as it was my favourite perfume at the time.......eventually it dropped to just Anais. Then someone asked me about Anais Nin, I hadnt a clue who she was at the time so looked it up on the net.
I have now read some books and still have more to get through......... great stuff. Also some good websites dedicated to Anais Nin around with some lovely quotes included that she used in her writing.........
xAnaisx
There were always in me, two women at least, one woman desperate and bewildered, who felt she was drowning and another who would leap into a scene, as upon a stage, conceal her true emotions because they were weaknesses, helplessness, despair, and present to the world only a smile, an eagerness, curiosity, enthusiasm, interest. Anais Nin
I would love to link my nick to some erudite literary reference like Anaïs Nin, but the simple, boring truth is Michael is one of my forenames, though not the one I'm normally known by, and North is because I live in the north, although I'm a southerner in exile.
Well, I'd rather have a Kenny Lynch record than Brucie's "I'm Backing Britain"...remember that one?
