I have thought about having my nipples done, but they are super sensitive and I worry that piercing them might ruin that so have put it off.
I did pierce my labia a couple of times during lockdown which looks pretty good - I have a bar with a large ball (6mm if I remember rightly) on the inside so it touches on my clit from time to time during the day. [NOTE: if you decide to do it yourself too, research properly first as there is a large blood vessel you have to make sure to avoid - and obviously things like the inner lab and clitoris shouldn't be done by yourself because they need more care to be taken!]
I want to get a VCH at some point, but I haven't found anyone locally that does them - not that I'd feel comfortable touching me so intimately anyway! You should be offered a consultation first, because not everyone is physiologically suited to it. The alternative (HCH) is purely cosmetic and offers no value in terms of increasing pleasure etc (as I have read, anyway - I don't have actual experience to share!)
I do worry a bit that the whole process of getting a VCH might be too arousing. Because one of my kinks is pain, I find that when being tattooed I slip into a euphoria-type state - having someone handling my clit whilst sticking needles into me might be a step too far!
It's worth noting too that for outer lab in particular it's suggested you refrain from sex for 3 months afterwards so you need to plan ahead if you do decide to get it done. That sounds easy in my case as lockdown meant no sex anyway, but it does also include masturbation!
I found that the swelling in my case went down after around 3 weeks (which was a shame actually, because when it was swollen I could feel the piercing all the time whereas nowadays I only notice it when the ball touches my clit!) and I never had any of the scabbing etc that you get with ear piercings, it just looked raw around the hole until one day it wasn't. If you have it done but decide you don't like it, lab piercings heal over really quickly - within a few hours the hole will start to close over on the inner side. When my first one had healed I felt that it was not quite positioned as I'd have liked so I removed it and did another. The piercing fully healed over to the point of not being able to identify where it had been within a couple of days - although I did wait a few weeks to redo it just to make sure it was completely healed on the inside too.
