I left school in 79. It weas an interesting time musicaly. Disco was dead. Punk was dying and on the horizon was 2-Tone and New Rommantics.
So what was number one? I truth I can't remember. I think it was "I don't like Mondays" - The Boomtown Rats. We also suffered Shuppayerface - Joe F**king Dolcis insteed of the monumental Golden Brown - The Stranglers.
