No directing??
Some of the comments made by the directors make me feel ill..... If I go on cam I just show my face, it's very rare that I get my tits out and that is normally on Steve's cam because nobody is watching :lol2:
I have to bite my tongue a lot of the time with some of the things that are said.... Steve says he is embarrassed to be a bloke at times

Some of them make me so pissed
It ruins the atmospere and makes it so i find it so difficult to join in with the conversation i end up in the TV Bi etc rooms not that thats a problem cos i have a good time in them but it stll happens in there but not so much.
I often ask the guys who direct to quit it and treat the women on cam with some naive of course as anyone who behaves like that generally doesn't even understand why I'm saying it !
If those same guys were even in a strip club they'd get a slap for some of what they say. I like the women on cam who insist on 'you show me yours and I'll show you mine' - soon shouts up most also rather nice to get compliments from the woman concerned if/when you do reciprocate as happened to me a few nights ago.

The chatroom rules specifically state that directing should not happen in rooms that are marked as not for direction.
If you're intending to cam in such a room, have the chatroom rules page open (or this topic) so you can cut and paste the URL into the chat, warning repeat offenders that they'll be reported.

Should you get persistent directors, take a screen print of the chat and send it to an Op, Mod or Admin to deal with.
I realise this might generate extra work in the short term but the threat of membership suspension to some of these people might ease things and the direction issue should decrease as word gets around that action will be taken.

This does work with some - and normally an apology is also forthcoming with these members.
However there are more than a few who persistantly come back after being kicked, getting more and more abusive as time goes on. Even a 24 hour ban does not peturb them. These are the chatroom equivalent of the foul mouthed louts who are just out to insult and terrorise innocent people - no amount of threats deter them.

I know this is against the grain, and certainly would not class myself as a director, but I have noticed some fems on cam who seem to quite enjoy a bit of gentle directing, Caron included. I’m not talking about the crude and yobbish behaviour that can be seen in some rooms.
But Caron, (and I’ve seen others) responds quite well to a little gentle persuasion, and enjoys the attention, so where do you draw the line? After all, directing, is directing, even if it’s polite and considered??

I've only recently started using the chatroom and i'll often now nip in if i'm bored. But - the Directors, and the sheer disrespectfulness of their comments riles me beyond words. I never stay long - and thats me, who's had her cam on twice, ever.

However if someone wishes to respond to a polite request in a room where "no directing" isn't stipulated then why the hell not?
