is it worth it ... you put a post on to whatever subject you seem to think fit for an open adult discussion without upsetting people , and try to be as honest as possible in your writing ...... then bang your private mail opens up with abuse ridicule scorn and nastiness .....some who will reamain nameless dont have the b........l? to put it publickly maybe thats a fear to reveal what is behind what they really are and feel, again no wonder people dont put on here anymore .....I from now on will think twice and stick to the real friends I have known and met and converse with and will continue to do so you know who you are and I applaude you ....at least you have been honest .

If you have received an abusive PM then it is in the interests of yourself and of the forum in general to report the fact to either admin or to your nearest mod.

as dave...notts has mentiond with regard to munchies if certain peoples names are going to on the list for a meet at a venue then he will not be there....count me in dave i second your opinion and compliment you ....you are right I wouldnt want to meet or converse with someone who basicly should have said to your face that they dont agree with what you have said and would you want to meet them after they have ridiculed you privately ......hmmmmmm questions

Steve, I'm gonna share something with you now, that it took me roughly 3 years to learn . . . . if you've got there sooner than i did, well done! ;)
It's an internet forum. It's not like most internet forums, cos you are likely to meet the faces behind the names at some point, and you might well look across a room and think to yaself "OMG, that's so-and-so" but even so, it's just the internet. I wouldn't go so far as to decide I'm not doing a munch if someone else is on the list, cos invariably, the absolute twats in my imagination have turned out to be quite nice IRL. I mean, I even like Happy Cats these days. ;)
Don't take it personally. At the end of the day, you're talking to an online persona. In real life, they will probably turn out to be lovely people, and you'd probably get on with them, but until then, it's just the internets. Serious business. :P
