Norwich, a fine city (or so the signs on the city limits will tell you)
If you are into your history and architecture then you have the castle museum, the cathedral etc, of relaxing is your thing, there are a couple of riverside bars overlooking the River Wensum (Prince of Wales Road will get you there), there are various shows held at the Theate Royal, so there are a few things to do.
I lived in Norwich many years ago, and a place I still occasionally visit, I'm sure you would find something to appeal.
I was born in Norfolk, and spent a load of time in Norwich.
Lucy I will miss you I get there on the 28th March!!
There is a hugh shopping centre, the castle, and several pubs!!
Cromer
Wroxham
North Norfolk coast all worth a visit for a short time!!
Good luck with the driving! and make sure you pass!!
Look out for this fella, he used to do a radio show there.
Thought this was going to be about
"Knickers off ready when I come home"
and other such - what are they - acronyms? Mnemonics?
Coleman's mustard started in Norwich. There is a Colemans' Mustard Shop with a tiny museum. They sell about 500 different types of mustard with different flavours - like chive etc.
Worth a look. Even if it's only to enjoy a new flavour.
The cathedral is fabulous. And makes it clear that Norwich used to be one of the most important cities in England.
