Insanity by Oceanic. Great dance track and a biggie from my days of working in a nightclub, which were some of the best times I have ever had.
So so many

Probably the coolest man to ever walk this planet

The song they say launched rave Tuuuuuuuuuuune.
If we are talking about the gang as it were back in the day that for us being 1992 when we all toured the country pubs 3 times a week in our mini's. There was one iconic tune that year for me, the original version not the shitty 08 remake.

This tune was also on the album now dance 1992, I am sure everyone who rode in the mini's could sing to nearly every track on now dance 1992.

Ah the joys of a mis-spent youth. Southampton Mayfair suite in 87. They'd already started demolishing the place when I went to see these for the first of many times.

Indeed. Never had a rat run up your trouser leg since I suggested tying a bit of binder twine around your shins though have you.

A great listing though!
Mr Tweeky I always somehow presumed you were younger than me. It would appear we are of the same or very similar vintage!
Some good memories there... I'm off to trawl iTunes for a couple of them.

That made me LOL.. tweeky, do you say that 'cod lot' thing for fish'n'chips? That always makes me grin too smile I told Mr Bioke about it and he thinks I'm making it up...
Nostalgic tunes for me would be:
American Pie - reminds me of sitting around a camp fire, on the beach, late at night, in the south of France in my student/watersports instructor days (of the legitimate kind!)
:)
Prince - 1999 - got me into all sorts of trouble :rascal: with a beautiful boy in Liverpool.
Prince - Raspberry Beret - got me into a relationship with a guy in Baton Rouge :inlove:
James - Laid - Oh. My. Gosh. What a snog! In a certain rugby club.
Too too many to mention... so I'll stop!
I have loads as my memories practically live in music..... but THE one has probably got to be I touch myself- by the Devinals followed extremely closely by Groovy Kind of Love by Phil Collins.
:inlove:

No evidently we say
ust e shutup

A song out of time - the album was form the late 80s, but I used to sing it to my bairn on sleepless nights - changing the lyrics to suit
'It was on a winter's night
In a dusty room
Came a piece of he Lord's ndying light
Crying like she;d swallowed the fiery moon
In her mother's arms
Was all the beauty I could take
Like the missing words to some prayer, Some prayer that I could never make
In a world so hard and dirty so fouled and confused
Searching for a little bit of God's mercy
I found living proof
I hear that song and I'm in the nursery again....

Men wearing skirts and purses? Sounds like a certain club in Manchester where, like some of the clientele, this always went down well
