Well tonight hubby had a meeting with the barsta... boss opps.
He has got his job back (hurray) but he is gonna make my hubbys life hell (shit).
He is going to bide his time there, and get his act together with regards to going self employed (which i know nothing about  ) and this way gives us a bit of breathing space for this. At the same time, his boss is gonna nit pick everything he does, making notes on EVERYTHING, and we will be doing the same (boss has already said he was the lowest of the low confused ) We are gonna be keeping a diary of events, such as comments he has made, any plans for work that causes him problems, slander..etc etc etc, get the picture. This way, we may have a case for constructive dismissal if it gets to hard to bear.
In the meantime, if anyone has any websites or advice on this matter, we would really appreciate this. We are yet to see the CAB cos they only take appointments and they dont have any available at the moment :? , and we also have a telephone number for a Employment Law Specialist.
Oh well, onwards and upwards. :sparring: duel
We've got all sorts of bods here and I'm sure it won't be long before you get the right advice.
If you want to ask any general questions about being self employed, just send a PM to Outdoorfun and tell him he's gotta help you because I said so. wink
Hxx
biggrin Put all comments, grievances in writing- asking for response, verbal communication means nowt. ACAS has a very good website, tho heavy going. Lucys a training manager, but is very well up on employment law- pm us.
hiya
hope this helps you guys
there are some very good dictaphones on the market now
i actually lent mine to a friend who was having similar problems to you
the results were dynamite (his boss was gone in a weekof producing the evidence)
he said the look on the bosses face when he produced the dictaphone was worth all the hassle he had suffered
hope everything sorts itself out for you
Thanks Heather, Relapse, KenLuvsLucy, wewantu2 and Leprechaun, and all the other ppl who initially pm'd us. We are at the moment trying to educate ourselves with all the information we have received and your support and advice, means a great deal. Thanks again!
Can we have a group hug pls! lol And no fondling me Lep!!

Great news. Just hang in there.
The idea of a dictation machine is probably a very good one. Nothing says constructive dismissal more than the jumped up little turd saying "I'm going to do everything I can to get rid of you" on tape.
rolf, yr right, hubby has gone one.
We have had doubts about using it thou, because of it not being 'admissible' in a court of law, BUT a ex policeman and another friend has told us that it can be used in court if: 1) its transcribed or 2) when tape is being taken into court, my hubby says "i was handed this tape" ie. meaning he didnt tape it, then the court cant object.
God, im learning so much here, i could be the next Erin Brocovitch of the uk employment world! lol
