OK i have finaly got back home...........
this is one munch i wont forget for a while..............
first of all thanks to sarah for organising a wonderfully run munch.....
OK here goes....

as has been said, Thanks to Sarah (also happy birthday kiss

), for organising what was for me, an excellent first notts munch, i had heard many good things about previous ones, so really wanted to go to this, and so glad i did, what an excellent night
i met a number of new people, for instance having someone introduced to me, without names bein gmentioned (thanks Dawnie) and in trying to find out who she was, me asking Sassy-Seren "are you a regular poster?"
to everyone else that i met for the first time, it was good meeting you, some of you will be pestered from here to eternity lol
and Redwine Lover, i can only apologise for laughing at you because you said Chesney Hawkes is very very good, what on earth was i thinking to criticise him?
to all those that were there (especially the ones that know me, and the ones that tarted with me, with the exception of course to the person who grabbed my arse, leaving me thinking, "ooh, i might get lucky here" turning round and seeing Casey Jones griining like Goose in a shoe shop) thank you all for making it a fantastic night

Thanks to Sarah for another great Notts munch, they really do manage to get bigger and better each time... even if this was the 2nd one in a row where I was a bit Ill, and did such a bad job of doing the rounds and saying hi to everyone that at kicking out time I found myself in the middle of a bunch of people I'd neve met before being ushered out into the (ahem) bracing night air.
I'll skip the usual name checks and recall 2 choice moments from the eveing for the benefit of those who were on other floors (or on the way home) at the time...
Firstlythe odd moment when a strange christmassy feeling came over me... far-off sleigh bells hinted that Santa was eleven and a half months early. They came closer... jingle jingle jingle... then fade away... Hmm, I must be drunk? No, I haven't had a drink all night as I'm a bit poorly. So what was that festive feeling? I turn round and realise that Jas just walked past back of my chair.
Secondly, I'm sure we've all experienced the 'everyone in the room suddenly stops talking and one voice rings out with an embarassing phrase' effect, but never with quite such a phrase as (in a very concerned and caring tone) "Don't worry, you poor thing, I've got a strap on and I'll do you up the arse."

Firstly it has to be said - This was best munch ever. What a way to start the year. Thanks to Sarah and all involved in organising - brill job.
Can't possibly mention everyone we got around to talking to - as there was far far too many and coupled with extreme brain hurt today it's just not possible.
But great to put even more faces to name and to re-visit the old ones. So nice to see everyone but still not enough time to get around everyone - and we were there a while. Unsure of what time we crawled into bed and a few shady dark spots after we left the venue !!
Big hi to all the new faces and those who we spent ages talking to.
Hope to see more of the sae and see you all in person again soon.

So glad I wasn't the only one in full black tie gear.
Hardest job of the evening was getting Bernie to come up to bed.
Still didn't sleep till 6 though. 4 hours later we are off again. we finally get home and Bernie is off out partying again. I hope I can keep up with her after we are wed. lol

Thank you Sarah and everyone else involved in organising such a fantastic night.
To those I was supposed to be handholding for putting up with me not actually remembering anyones names (we met two different couples whilst they booked into their hotel and I managed only one name out of the four and that was only a I think it might be but I'm not really sure).
To my chauffeur for the evening, thank you for getting me safely there and back and for sharing the room with me kiss

To a certain special lady who fulfilled a promise from just after last time we met and in such style too passionkiss

To my co-partner in crime on a duet on the Karaoke (A lifetime achievement for me biggrin

)
To someone else for giving me a grin like a cheshire cat. cool

Which reminds me I must apologise for not speaking to more of you for longer but none of you were near the karaoke and I had to stick near it for when I got called on.
So as always great to see soo many old friends again and to meet some new ones.
Well done to all the newbies there, you all seemed to be getting on so well.
Most memorable moments not included above...
being given a much needed kick up the arse (literally) so I left the pre-drinks to be on time to get back to my hotel lol

Looking in my rear view mirror on way there and spotting fellow munchgoers behind me :D
Repeatedly putting my flat cap on in the pre-drinks so people knew who I was :lol:
Lining up to Snog Sarah :D I nearly lost my glasses in the process of the snog :P
