Well the munch will be over by now and no doubt the parties continue. Sadly i had to leave early due to the joys of parenting. sad

I would like to thank Steve and Claire for their gracious invitation, i thoroughly enjoyed myself and my face still aches from smiling. biggrin

I had a great time and it is fantastic that i can finally can put faces to names, and i enjoyed chatting to all of those that i managed to get round to. To those that i didn't i am sure we will meet in the future.
You are all wonderful people and i hope that i made a good first impression. :D

I'd like to echo MM70's sentiments... it was our first munch and GT and I had a great time and would love to do another one. As you said MM70, it is great putting faces to names... or rather names to avatars containing intriguing body parts and tattoos. smile

I enjoyed our chat on the stairs MM70... sorry it should have been longer but I was on a man hunt for Wilki, I found him finally... Thank you for the drink Wilki... We intended to buy you one in return but completely forgot... we owe you one. :) :)

So SS obliged, for longer this time... so then GT just had to compare Judy's and SexySteph's frontal adornments... let's just say that SexySteph won... hands around... :)

My confidence is now shattered... my already low self esteem is now hovering just slightly above the earth's core... Everyone was polite enough to ignore my puffy... blood shot eyes caused by an hour of desolate weeping in the toilet... It's okay though IcePie... There were lots of other gorgeous people I chatted with and I so wish I could remember their names... there was the voluptuous Gerri Halliwell look-a-like who I discussed where she bought her Basque from... and there was the lovely lady who I had a little kiss and a cuddle with near the bar - early on... she kissed nice... both of you - make yourself known to me... pwease! :)
Last but certainly not least... Clare and Steve... congratulations for putting on what everyone said to me was a successful munch... Thank you for making my first munch special... you seem to have thought of everything from badges to buffet to brunch (guessing on the last one) :)
You guys are certainly going to need time to recover... neither of you seemed to stop talking to folk or moving all night.

A huge thank you to Clare and Steve from me too. A great venue, good company, affordable drinks and a load of nutters in silly outfits, what more could we want?
Still reeling from the 3 hour drive home, but I'm awake enough to apologise to everyone I didn't get round to talking to... particularly Vix, Celtiq, everyone who's posted in this thread so far redface

Have to agree was nice to put faces to the many names, bit daunting being there on my own, lots of you put me at ease. Was nice to see a couple of familiar faces again, Marcuso you still need to show me your horizontal dancing! NottsM4Fun I was a bit more chatty than the first time we met!

Great to meet faces old and new debbie you really are mad as a hatter, Steve your a bright kid but you need to lay of the source (lol), skegness swingers lovley to have met you guys, Vix & Reece lovley couple anyway far to many names to mention your all fantastic.

Finally home .... feeling very very worse for the wear after about an hours sleep.
Clare & Steve ... wonderful hosts ... thank you so much for organising it all.
Highlights of my evening ...... Wonderful chats with Judy (and I am so gutted that I never recognised you this morning LMAO) and with PiercedJon. Fred and Wilma are fabulous and I even got to see the delightful Wilma's bottom silly

Hi all
We would like to say to steve lincs n co (and whoever else co-operated in giving us directions to the much :fuckinghell:
We would never have got there lol.
First we had a major detoue @ Oakham that took us into the middle of nowhere...we then go back and find the A1 eventually and then we get totally lost in Notts....NEVER EVER again !!! LOL
For a 1 hr trip and 55 odd miles it took 4 hrs and over 100 miles :twisted:
Oh well we got there in the end...better late than never.
OI Wilma...gis our badges back ya hussy !!!!
Hubby is offering lots of snogs in safe returning of the badges lol

))) and had a bath, so this a quickie before i go to sleep for 2 days! :lol2: blummin' knackering these things are, but it was a great night, and really good to see so many lovely people having an absolute whale of a time, and put some more faces to names!
i've already been told off for leaving in a hurry without saying bye ((( sorry venus! :P ))) but i suspect if i'd left any later things might have got really messy. as it was i was pushed back upright a fair few times, so thanks for all your much needed support to everyone i fell on! rolleyes

to all those who braved a snog with me despite my protestations, well ta! quite nice they was! well actually they we're very bloody nice, as ever! :D i'll get the rest of you next time! :twisted:

Misschief will NOT be surprised to learn that I lost my coat :roll: WBB has suggested that I take out "Munch insurance" because I manage to lose something every bluddy time - and it invariably includes my coat. It did turn up behind the hotel reception though, despite me not knowing what colour the fur trim is lol

I'm off for a kip now, huge amounts of alcohol and then lots of driving aren't a very good combination, I'm just glad I wasn't up til 5am like some people :shock: :shock:
