Nudist clubs in Surrey

Scarlet and I are thinking of visiting/joining a nudist club somewhere in Surrey (Weybridge/Leatherhead area). The primary reason for doing so is the fact that we only have access to an open, communal garden, so nowhere where we can enjoy the coming warmer weather naked. Membership seems a little steep for us right now, so we may have to restrict ourselves to swims etc for the time being, but...
However, being not-particularly-hardcore swingers, we also have a secondary interest in the potential for meeting others in a liberated, but not overtly sexual environment - if we wanted a swing club, we'd go to one...
I've been looking through the websites of several local clubs, and they all seem to share the same rather stuffy, overtly anti-sexual attitude, which is fair enough for representatives of a family activity seeking wider social acceptance, but it doesn't always reflect the total reality of the club.
Are there any Surrey nudists reading this who can comment on the prevailing atmosphere of the various clubs in the area? I have friends who go to nudist resorts abroad specifically for sex, but does the prevailing attitude in the UK make pulling like-minded couples a complete non-starter? Does anyone find UK clubs to be an enjoyable and successful way of meeting other swingers, or should we forget about the sex and just enjoy the sunshine? :-)
Thanks for your advice,
Take care,
PJ.
Most people who go to naturist clubs in this country do it purely for the pleasure of socialising in a clothes free environment. It just isnt overtly sexual. Of course relationships are struck up, and of course swinging goes on, but no more so than in a normal 'textile' environment.
Foreign resorts, Cap D'agde springs to mind are just like any other resort, but with less clothing. I dont think there is any more swinging there than in say Ibizza.
We have been swinging off and on for about 15 years and been naturist about the same time, certainly we have had our share of fun and games, but thatwas not because it was a naturist environment....it would have happened anywhere.
Most clubs in this country are very guarded and discourage overt sexual behaviour of any kind. This happens for two main reasons. One, naturist clubs like to promote a 'family' image, and young kids are much in evidence. Two, clubs are well aware that the sleazier end of the tabloid press would just love to make a conection between sex parties and naturism.
Hope this helps. Have fun anyway, wherever you go.
The many well established clubs are part of the Naturist Foundation and they have a fairly well disciplined code of conduct. Thrill seekers are often easily spotted and if they get out of hand are dealt with. So its a different approach with the naturist clubs, but not completely stuffy. But its an occupation requiring some commitment.
It's only a thought but have you guys ever gone to the naturist section of Studland Bay down in Dorset. It's not too far to drive from surrey and is a wonderful beach in its own right. The possible down side is that it is patrolled by the local boys and girls in blue ( sometimes "undercover" which means they're the only ones in swimming gear rolleyes ) who take a dim view of overly overt sexual activity "in a public place" and have prosecuted. I spend as much time down there as the weather allows, being a naturist myself, and manage to get my partner along on the few times she can get away. Happy to supply details of how to get there and where to park etc. if you're interested. smile

Agreed it's a lovely place..though very 'family orientated' at times so purely for sun loving not any other stuff. biggrin
A couple of further thoughts on the subject which may help. If the idea of the beach is too much there is always Studland Summer Camp xxxxxxxxxxxxx which may fit your needs. Also, of course, one of the main attraqctions of the area (apart from the beach) is the Square & Compass @ Worth Matravers, one of the best pubs I've ever known!! Perhaps a munch of some sort there for those of us who go down that way might be an idea?
Something else that may be of use is the NUFF website xxxxxxxxxx
Hope this is of some use.
Do not post urls of other sites please - read the site policy.
Might be wrong, but I think a lot of the 'naturists' would get a tad peeved if a lot of 'swingers' turned up wink
Give 'em something to watch, I'm sure they wouldn't mind. (no tv's though, there's no point)
