Just adding my thanks to Steveg_nw (even though he didn't bloody recognise me 
:x ) and Vicky_uk (nice arse luv!) and all the lovely people that made me feel so welcome when I arrived. Not going to mention individual names as I had to down several stiff ones (DRINKS! you filthy minded lot lol) as I was terrified at first.
Lovely to put faces to names, but whoever it was that got me in the play area
because my bum is sooooooo sore today from landing heavily at the bottom of the slide 
Think I need to go and sleep for a couple of days to get over the alcohol (although I'm sure the jacuzzi afterwards didn't help with my dehydration :twisted: )

And thanks from me as well to everyone who played a part in making the NW munch so enjoyable. I met some great people, and would have loved to have chatted some more to some that I met, but the noise level of the music was a bit high for me at times - I'll bring me ear trumpet next time!

From a munch Virgins perspective i wuld like to say a big Congrats Steve and Vicky for a blinding night or was that blind drunk..im not sure, 6 pints in the 1st hour managed to settle the 1st munch nerves though. It was good to put some faces to some names / bodies!

What a fantastic night!!! I wouild also like to thank Steveg and Vicky-UK for organising a fantastic munch. Everyone had a great time. It was nice to renew some acquaintances and to meet one or two who i hadn't met before.
The awards ceremony was very entertaining but the award for the Person that Most People Wanted to Meet has to go to Sgt. Bilko. Sarge - it was a pleasure to meet you at last. There will be more info on Sarge in another thread coming soon!!!

Apart from the music being a tad loud and the room doubling as a sauna it was a wonderful night - what a turnout !! Loads more faces put to names (Corrie, AngelChat, Tigger, JQL, Kinky Lizard, MikeNorth, Ice Pie, WellBustyBabe, NeilInLeeds, Fred & Wilma, Rebecca...and, of course, Sarge - amongst many others !)
Also great to see some others again (Tim&Jas, Will&Sappho, MR&Mrs FC, Kit&Kat, Blue, Judy...and again many others)
A few tips though for those going to a Munch in the future:-
1) If you have a pet with you (say for example a small red evil duck) then letting him nest throughout the evening in cleavages, ripped stockings or under skirts will spoil him for life - he simply won't look at a normal nest again ! Then again, who can blame him ! :twisted:
2) When accepting a very kind lift from somebody (ta Fred !) ensure that both parties are thinking of the same location BEFORE turning up and realising it was a different hotel !!

3) If point 2) happens don't bolt from the scene - enjoy a drink with friends and you never know what will happen (eh Sarge !)
4) If you get the chance to get to a Munch, GO !! After this second one for me I really would urge those forumites to meet us in the flesh - so nice to put faces to names and all that.
5) Do not be overly cheeky to people before a Munch (again, thats a barely disguised Sarge reference !) :lol: :lol:

A huge thanks to everyone that turned up last night. It really is the people that come along to the munches that make them such a success and from the list the two guys on the door were using we had **131** people turn up, almost twice as many as the first NW munch.

It was at that point that I went to retrieve the bottle of red wine kindly brought for me by Carpathian & Misschief when I was told that "this hairy guy took it" so i assume Carpathian changed his mind (since he met Misschief he seems to have turned into something of an Indian giver ).
IF there's another NW munch hopefully we've established the venue and I won't need to turn up so early. I was probably half cut by the time most people had arrived and the rest of the evening is just a blur.

We got drunk, I've got the sorest bottom (remind me what a bad idea it is to lift your legs up to gain maximum speed on a slide when it's only 2 foot high)
