What the devil has happened?
You make one post and this whole bunch of eejits, that have never so much as spoken to you before, send you PMs.
There was always the odd one, but not a tirade of unknown chaps, like now. sad

Not one makes mention of my husband. And they do not mention their partners... just wanna meet up one-on-one.
This is a Swingers Site, isn't it? Or has it become a Singles Bar, after all?

Hmm know what you mean since I filled in my profile I'm getting loads of single blokes leaving messages which dont tell me a lot about them and why do they never have a picture??

I'd be quite interested in finding out where (and in what way) the site is being advertised, because the huge influx of new members seems to be 'a different kind' of member than we used to have.
Any ideas?

Hi Vix, taken this extract from the glitch thread, annoying but hopefully being sorted soon.
I and many others having the same problem and when I looked into it found I was showing in the single fem section. Hope it helps

Nope they are the same kind and finding the place the same way - they just have new and improved search buttons to stalk members with - however....
there are the new and impoved IGNORE buttons - which include selecting to 'block all messages from males/females/couple'. Then you only get messages from those on your friends list. smile

I mentioned this very thing this morning the adds are getting more and more stupid,one I saw had the same word repeated over and over ? !?! ? (yes I did report it)

Hmmm, well if Noel is right and they're getting 20000+ new registrations per day, then they've got to be advertising somewhere, surely! Unless the management have turned off some aspect of 'guest' usage which would make people register to see pictures, or something...

I think a lot of people notice the 'Ad' section in their profile area and just fill it in as a test, not realising that it will be published in the Ads section.

There' no ads, people visit the site from lots of places, adding the unified login has made more people aware of the parts of the site that they never used before and given them access without signing up for another login.

Thats a good idea, there's some useful threads that could be included and maybe a few words on why cock shots don't work, I think I'll add it to the glitches (even though its an idea).

I think you've hit the nail on the head there Vix - The site has sadly become in-undated with One handed typists ( i think that is the most politically correct phrase to use) and the major reason why the Core users have taken a huge step back. This site has become less and less about swinging, The community has become fragmented, and theres just far too many dick head single blokes giving us a bad name. Apart from that - everythings fine and dandy lol

My point is that as an ex 'core user', I am not prepared to get this kind of thing, every time a noob sees me post and fancies a chance.
My profile is now empty and I have removed the link to our ad.
This saddens me deeply.
If I wanted to play in a cave, I'd have gone to Wookey, so I am ever hopeful of a return to my bunch of friendly perverts, but alas, we are dwindling in numbers.

Hi Folks......
As a lurker for a while I suppose I can add a bit of info. When I first found this site the chat was difficult to access...now it is only one click away which makes it easier for the neds There needs to be a certain techincal difficulty in posting, particularly in chat to avoid the one celled wonders flooding in.
Ok so I haven't dipped my toe in the swinging pool yet but as a writer this site hsa given me alot of inspiration that below the facade of "normal" life real people do amazing things and you'd never know...lol
I'll continue lurking for a while anyway...lol
