I see that the gallery has now been restricted to free members - including those of us who were here before the site was sold.
I feel very strongly that, if members are kind enough to post their pics then it is not the site that should make money from their efforts. mad
Besides, random surfers might be tempted to join the site when the see the range of wonderful talent that we have here, so in the long run it would make more financial sense than this try at scalping current members.
This is the first time that the new management have done something I feel is right outside the spirit of what this site should be. Please vote yes and maybe it'll be put back the way it was.

It's nothing to do with making money, it is purely to prevent those under 18 accessing the site and seeing pornographic images. That's why it is restricted to members only.

Well I hope our pics are not being used to make a profit...... Poor buggers who buy em lol.
Have to agree though if members are posting pics surely they should not be mis-used. Didn't even realise the gallery has changed... never seen it nor used it!

I am free member, and when logged in can see 48,000+ photos.
I dont think there is a problem.
Some people will have some photos in their private gallery.

I'm a free member but I think it should be accessed by members only. I think due to the nature of the photos on this site, I'd prefer my photos were being looked at by like minded swingers and not just anybody who's surfing for porn. It's bad enough my site name can be googled and traced that way :shock: I wouldn't want my son to come across my photos and profile too rolleyes

This poll doesn’t make any sense to me? When you say free to all do you mean all members? Or do you mean anyone that comes across the site which will obviously include kids sorry to say, as for free members who joined the site before the take-over then they can access the gallery so I I’m now left totally stumped to what this is all about really perhaps you can explain as your wording isn’t at all clear, but if you mean all members “and members only” then I agree but this is already the case so why the post/poll or was it changed and changed back?

:jagsatwork: - I'm on the side of members and serious people only. If I wanted everyone to see the photos for free I'd open a website dedicated for that, and understand the point the Mal made so I'm fully in support for this.

People's personal galleries have always only been accessible if you had registered and had an active login name and password.
I guess by having to register you have the declaration you are over 18 and so this wont hold the site as responsible if the member should choose to lie about their age. Legal disclaimers I would guess... dunno Although those who lie about their age usually get6 caught and banned sharpish anyway. smile

Photos... once they are out there - they are out there.
Regardless of what is or isn't in the gallery (unless it is the private one) once you post a pic on the net you may as well consider it public domain.

Hmmmm. This may have been caused by a login glitch. I was logged in when I went to the gallery the other day & it appeared to be asking me to become a payng member. Tonight, when I went to check the wording to quote in the reply I was composing it's not. So it seems like confusion on my part. redface
Oh, all listed pics can be put in private galleries, so those of you who don't want your pics to be viewable by any T,D&H can have control over who can access them and even for how long.
