Play truant and come to Wigan wink
Lyns, I know exactly what you mean, I have a few days off work and planned some long relaxing days in the garden. As it happens, the garden is only any use to you if your a duck, so you can swim on the massive puddle which has formed rolleyes

Ahh the great British weather. As a family weve always enjoyed holidays in England and Ireland but after getting so fed up with the unpredictable weather, we are off to Majorca soon. Knowing my luck the rain will follow me there too  lol

Just take that back, a loud clap of thunder has rolled over head as I write this............

I had that yesterday as I was driving home. So much so I had to pull over and wait a bit - it was like I didn't have my windscreen wipers on.
Then had to drive the rest of the way home at about 15mph so I didn't flood the engine.

We had it yesterday as well as we were driving down the M5 to Worcester...
I had to slow right down as well......To about 70
Well I think some heavenly creature is playing with the shower switch today ... rains .. then stops .. rains .. then stops ... should I water my hanging baskets or don't I need to bother ... why is it all so complicated in this country weatherwise.
Flamin June mad
DD biggrin
Your all bored again......

If you were a real man you would just plunged on through the deluge regardless of the danger to you or other road users. wink

I may of done if the small and winding back roads I was driving on hadn't turned into rivers within 10 minutes. Was like driving through a ford for about 3 miles!!
