You need to upload the image to somewhere like it will then give you the url to use.
url = uniform resource locator ... a web address
the img tag adds pictures but the picture needs a web address to be inserted between the opening and closing tags...you can't just add it from your hard drive.
You need a photo hosting site. and are two examples, there are many others.
Once you have registered with them you can upload your photos. If your photos are too big to upload you can resize them in Photoshop, Paint or with Microsoft's if you have Windows XP.
Fotango will give you a web address for your picture (url), you need to copy this. Then click the Img button in the reply window, paste the address, click Img* and the picture will appear in your reply.
Photobucket gives you the complete code necessary to post your pictures here, when you have uploaded them. Copy the content of the Img box next to the picture you want to post, paste it into your reply and you're done, no need to use the Img button.
It's harder to describe than it is to do !
NB: Most (all ?) photo hosting sites do not allow 'adult' material.
shite....
it was an adult cartoon pic i wanted to post,
still think i`ll have a go though with something clean
thanks everyone
If you want to add a picture off the net then you can add it easily.
Right click on the picture and click on properties...then you can see the url of the picture. Copy that and paste it between the img tags
