This in some way links on to my other post, it also is, or has been elsewhere a little addictive, it goes on and on .
Old fashioned sweets, the older members of this community with be able to recall some old 2 for a penny sweets or similar, but what was your favourite? there are hundreds....how many do you recall?
Proper full size curly whurly's the went on till about next week

I remember pulling one of my teeth out with a fruit salad as I was eating it :shock:

omg those things made me barf as a kid....still cant stand the smell of em even now....nasty things!!

I love parma violets too .... there used to be a perfume that smelt like them too, was it exclamation!?

Spanish Gold as it was known years ago. There's a great website called Mrs Browns which still sells all this stuff biggrin

About 10 years ago Cadburys had to admit they had shrunk Creme Eggs. They claimed it was due to metrication. Apparently things can only get smaller when they go metric - funny that.
I remember Waggon Wheels needing 2 hands. But maybe my hands were smaller then biggrin
oo this has got me all excited n cravings for 'rhubarb and custard' boiled sweets now ...... am off to 1 of them linked sites rolleyes

Sherbert Fountains that really did fountain when you spat down the hole in the licorice. Not like the useless things they pass off now.
Mmmmmmmm Parma violets, black jacks and fruit salad. I also used to love aniseed wheels but only remember buying them in New Zealand, don't know if they were available here.
