With the ability of most modern phones to set any MP3 file as a ringtone, I'm amazed that there's still so many gullible teenagers willing to pay for them.
I've actually gone retro on my phone and managed to find a sample of an old 70's Trimphone's ring.

I think the point is what is used as a ring tone and I do like Crazy frog however I would not use it myself on a phone I only use the normal ring ring tone. Boring I know but that is me rolleyes

I just find the whole idea of 'ringtones', very purile.
I am so glad my teenage daughter has more sense - she is more than happy with the standard ringtones on the phone.
But some idiots do like them and are prepared to pay - so you can't blame the companies for trying to cash in on it.

As for the one that was moved to the steam room, can I just ask why, it was done in the cafe as a that is where I wanted it to be. If I wanted to have a rant I would have gone in to the steam room and asked if it could have been moved/added to the steam room.
Please explain y you have done this.

You may not be bothered but someone must have been to have put it in steam room.
All i did was put a poll up, I did not break any AUP rules, I was not having a rant, I was just asking the community a question and my question and poll got dumped into the steam room for no good reason.
All I am asking for is an explaination either in PM or on the thread, is this not a reasonable request.
I know alot is going on but we are still here to have fun and have a laugh and thats all im doing, but somene has taken it upon them self to spoil it for others.
The crazy frog thread never got dumped into the steam room so why did mine.

I know where your coming from and I see your point but it doesnt make a blind fecking difference what is going on.
Someone moved my thread when it wouldnt have been moved normally. You are all saying things wont change but they already have when people start moving threads/polls to stop freedom of speech and not upset the owners. Proves one thing we have been taken over by a company that don't like us having our own views.

Thats what I was going to say. If your freedom of speech was being removed, the thread would have been deleted :dunno: The way I see it, your poll was only started because of the events of the last day or so, and in reaction to the fact that the site has been taken over by a company that's involved in ringtones. They also run other dating sites and a swingers site though so they aren'tjust a ringtones company...

OK maybe freedom of speech hasnt been lost, but it has been push into an area that is not as easily seen, as it would have been, and was intended, when it was an individual thread.
The original thread was NOT a rant, but it now has been turned into one.
