doctors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my rant today is about doctors.. or more acurately their receptionists!
i have a am appointment and so get there at , i wait and wait and wait till finally i get called in at
not once do i compalin.. except in my mind.
i then have a appointment for the following week, but unfortunatley turn up at
i then get told by the receptionist that as i am late the doctor will have to keep me waiting!
ffs, whats new then?

OK... there are plenty of occassions where there is no need to ask why a thread has been locked - the reason is just obvious.
But could anyone shed some light on why the 12 (swinging) Days of Christmas was locked confused

That really pees me off too WBB. Especially if I have my son with me who has the attention span of a gnat and gets bored easily! We waited so long once that he ended up wanting to go to the loo.........and whilst in there, whos name was called whilst in the loo?! rolleyes Came out and the receptionist said id missed it so let the next person go in first.... evil GGrrr
Anyway, im moaning about selfish people today, ive been playing waitress to a friend whos staying for the week, airport runs, entertaining, cooking, drinks, washing up along with running around after my kids and school runs etc, and shes done absolutely nothing, not even come with me on school runs! All shes done is pinch my laptop to chat to friends on msn, whilst im busy running around after her! When we went shopping she didnt even contribute to the food with a few bits and pieces and knows we arent made of money as we have four of us living off one wage! When i arrive at her house, i bring bags of shopping, and also treated them all (4 in her family) to fish and chips one evening. Shes bought 2 bags of maltesers this week confused We also decided to go to the cinema last night and who paid for that......ME!
Then to top it off, shes gone to meet a mutual friend for lunch, but made it clear i wasnt invited, BUT made sure i ran her to another town so SHE could get some money out (where i paid for parking!!) then dropped off at station! mad
Oh yeah, she also said she'll text me when she needs picking up again! :x :x :x
Well im off to the bathroom to see if I can scrub the MUG off my forehead.......... :doh:
Roll on Saturday where i will be with REAL friends..... wink

I've just been to the fridge (shared office block so shared kitchen on each floor) and some thieving git has helped themself to a big chunk of my Cathedral City - I don't even have enough left to make half a cheese roll !!!!
Bloody right about the doctors too WBB, I'll send you the tiny bit of cheese I have left and you can pelt the receptionist with it!!

Your friend obviously thinks she's staying in a hotel with a chauffeur service - put her and her luggage in the car and drop them off at the closest Holiday Inn with the number of a cab firm. What a cheek! :shock:

I would guess that it's because it was a sort of statement, like the jokes, it can't really be expanded upon, now, if you had finished it with "What would you like your fb/partner to slip to you?" there's a point for discussion.

wot a day ive had..................... its been a day from hell but the final straw that has me downing wine by the bucket full and biting all the jellie babies heads off (better them than the kids) is that i filled my cars petrol tank up with 30 quids worth of diesel.....roll on tomorrow cos it sure as hell got to be better than this one surprisedops

Yes hair is the best place to keep a pen. Sometimes I have 2 or 3 in there (and quite often a letter opener). But not today.
I've found a 1/2 chewed and blunt builders pencil and used a pair of scissors to scrape off enough wood to scratch out some vague scribblings.
