I got told off for resting my hand on the gear stick when driving, for leaving the ignition on when stopped and criticised for my choice of route to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FFS!

Tell the old fart that modern front wheel drive cars don't suffer like the old ones did with selector fork problems if you rest your hand on the gear lever, and you won't burn out the coil if you leave the ignition on. (Might not be true, but it'll give him something to think about)
And as far as I know, he can't even open his windows at night without turning the ignition on ! ! ! Mercs ?? Pffftt ! !

Couldn't remember exactly why i was told off for doing those things - but you've hit it right on the head!!!!!!!!! LOL
I personally prefer me older than I am, I am 33 and will consider men as old as 43 but as far as younger men go, I can only go as young as 30. I am just not attracted to younger guys...
I cannot explain the reasons why but I am sure I have some...

I have often wondered what makes some ladies go for an older guy. I can see an arguement for younger but what do you ladies see in the older bloke that attracts how much older is acceptable on an average.
(of course i do not have a vested interest in this enquiry) lol
(not much I havn't)

well my 'girl' is 42 and im 31 so obviously she now looking for younger guys
but when she was younger she looked for experience and maturity just one ploblem with that ~the older guys got even older too then you dont want them any more and you go the other way
me i go for a soul match first in a long term relationship anything else is a bonus
and all different types and ages for fun cool
Forgive me for saying "age not that old chestnut"
I've never quite worked out what age has to to with anything.I've met guys that are younger than me and guys that are older than me but their age never had any bearing
on why I met we meet people because we are attracted to them in some
way, wether it be physical or you just "click" through conversation.
Maybe i'm just lucky in that all the guys i've met younger and older have all been great,
and isnt that one of the reasons why we "swing" variety? and they do say that "variety is the spice of life"
Anyway as my "other half" is older than me and a wonderful lover and friend,
"older guys (love em or hate em) " I for one love em
candyfloss xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Spose i'll have to add a comment as one of the oldest guys in here......
I've only been to 2 munches and everybody was very nice..
I have noticed a bit of ageism as HB reports but thats only to be expected and rarely happens in the chatroom.....
I shall continue to be the mature gentleman i am and hope to continue having a laugh in the chatroom.

I'd like to think that the older a fella gets and gains more experience of life and not just sex, he becomes a more thoughtful person.
But speaking generally an older guy might want to put his partner's pleasure first before his own. Her enjoyment is paramount. He gets turned on by HER ecstacy and its not because he sees himself as a kind of stud but rather that he is sharing something intimate and so enjoyable with her.
I think also that older fellas would be more interested in the whole person (female or male) and and not just their body. If I find someone's personality attractive, I'll automatically find them sexually attractive. And any sexual contact that takes place will be that more enjoyable and richer.
Speaking as an older bloke (51) I'm in no hurry to jump into bed with someone. Quality rather than quantity has never been truer.
As for slowing down as you get older, yes of course it happens. Some older blokes would hate to admit it but its a fact of life. A definate advantage of slowing down is that sex seems to last longer and thats good news!
Older blokes are very much at ease with themselves.
Sex is much more fun now. It seems to last longer, has more laughter, and a lot of tenderness and warm smiles.
Love Cicero

Perfectly put Cicero - i totally agree! Im 55 (so im probably considere an antique by now).
Personally I have recently pushed the limits of how much older a man could be for me, and on a couple of occasions it has paid dividends as they have been able to do things which younger men haven't achieved so I can vouch for the experience thing being true sometimes. However, I wouldn't feel comfortable with a man older than my Dad, and I have pushed it recently quite close confused
OK people - so what exactly is "an older man"? Someone older than yourself i guess.
Buti i read the ads and watch the threads and it would seem that anyone over 40 is way past it! - surely i cant be past it? - in fact i know im not!
When I was 17, I started seeing this bloke who was 34. It lasted a few years, on and off. He'll be 51, now.

Surely that depends on your age. If you are 20 them a 30 year old is older but if you are 30 then a 40 year old is older.
My dad is 52 just in case anyone is interested lol!

Woweeee , in with a chance then .... just !! smile
Seriously, its how old you feel that is a governimg factor. I drive a Honda Civic type R, very much a "Boy Racers" car. :P
As you get older you get a lot BOLDER at least I did,and my shagging partner of 14 yrs standing, lying bending etc. is 17yrs my do I get so tired.
Handy
I think the same applies to older women. I originally wanted to meet them because I always had the Mrs Robinson complex, thinking that "an older woman, eh? She'll show you the ways of the world!" But after experiencing one I don't think I could ever have purely sex with someone my age or younger. Women who are older than me have the experience but also the sexual confidence to push the envelope that bit further.
On the subject of younger men though, I found it a massive ego boost when, as a 22 year old, a 53 year old woman I had sex with sent me a jaw-dropping email the following day going into explicit detail about how I was the best lover she'd ever had. To all the women out there, don't dismiss the idea of the younger man totally (please?)

Sorry BE, don't want to piss on your parade but many women would just think that an older guy driving a boy racer car looks ridiculous (no matter how young it makes you feel) - don't think that it gives the impression of youth!
Mr. Writer, I wouldn't dismiss younger men at all, it comes down to attitude. It's already been said on this thread I think, that age really isn't always the deciding factor.
