Right to save explaining in a new thread i'll put it heredue to personal reason's i've changed my user name (and it was shite) and it's not down to an ego trip but it does seem to be sticking so i've gone for the obvious. So even if I change my avatar people who only log on ocassionaly will still know who it is. So thanks to st3v3 for guiding me through the process as i'm an official numpty when it comes to stuff like that.

I hadnt thought of that. But I dont think he will need to get himself known a little better before he is allowed to attend any of the social events. The organisers do have a certain duty of care to ensure that everyone they are inviting are infact genuine people, coming along for the right reasons, and I dont think that someone who is so new would necesarily get on the invite list.
But if he keeps on posting, gets himself known a little better and joins in with some of the banter, I am sure he will have fun and get on the list for a munch or two
