The following is, as always MY humble opinion.
IMHOthis was a thinly veiled look at me thread.
HOWEVER- I've probably been guilty of doing it myself before now, in one form or another.
Double however- do I think FB was right to mention it? Well I wouldn't have, but I wouldn't have responded to it either.
Treble however, it was FB's perogative to do so, and I have to say that if she's one thing- it's even handed. FB treats well liked & established SH'ers in the same manner as total newbies- she always says what she thinks.
Furthermore, (I'm fickle rolleyes

I will just say thank you for your thanks as I spent more time than I should have over the weekend clearing the backlog of several hundred pics. On the whole there are more crappy than good ones and we can't select the order of authorising, just whichever pops up on the screen next.

Summat else entirely ... I've recently been posting on another swinging site forum (shock!horror!) that probably doesn't even have 10% of the membership, pics, ads, forum traffic as SH yet there are dozens of unanswered threads for the attention of mods and admin in their version of Help/Site problems section.
That is all. cool

my point being, that while this site occasionally pisses all off at times for numerous reasons, it could be a helluva lot worse! wink

We do try hard... it's been said before but saying it again doesn't do any harm - ALL of us do this in our spare time after doing paid work, housework, children work, partner work, social work (I mean socialising there!!) and family work. Sometimes it takes ages, sometimes it take only a few hours. We could do with 'thanking' all the time but I accept that that isn't going to happen.
I enjoy my 'work' with SH, sometimes I feel valued (when I get a PM thanking me or some such stuff) and sometimes I feel that the other members don't give a shit (when I get an arsey PM or read an arsey post like I did this morning having a go at 'Admin' for no good reason) but I've been here long enough to go with the flow.
Uphill or downhill, the current is always strong, fast and turbulent!

That was the point of the thread, you get so many complaints tis nice to see a nice one every now and then to thank all the mods for their work all in all they do a great job but then we get shot down for it confused

I'd just like to say thanks too...
have been on the site now for a while but am only a fairly recent user of the chatroom. Over the weekend I had cause to contact a chatroom operator/moderator (not sure of correct terminology!?!) and they dealt with the issue I had straight away - despite the fact it was the weekend, the rooms were busy and they probably had loads of other stuff on. It was the first time I had ever raised an issue like that and was impressed with the speed it was dealt with.
So thank you lots... lovely moderator/admin/operator folk!! Much appreciated.
