As a Mod I end up in a no win situation with threads like this. If I lock it I am accused of being judge and jury and Power Crazy, yet if I leave it I encourage more of the same. Calista is right when she says that the standard of posts recently has been dire.
In fact, whilst I am in Rant Mode, there have recently been quite a few Newbies that are using the forum as a slower version of the Chatroom - holding conversations with one other person. I realise this may be fun, but for everyone else it is boring to read post after post from the same two people.
Another Newbie trend is to start a thread and then answer every individual post that follows. If you want to do that either use the chatroom or PM each other!! :x :x :x

Rant over!!! Slips into holiday mode again! :lol: :lol:
