I'm pretty much like I am in real life, I don't say a lot but listen to everything, or in this case read everything.
As a consequence it takes a long time to get to know me.

Its an odd one. What you see here pretty much is me in my opinions and the fact I pretty much think I am always right. I can be quite argumentative here to at times though Ive mellowed a bit over the years. However were you to meet me you probably dont see this side of me at all due to the social situation we are probably meeting in. You will probably see me as quite laid back trying to have a laugh and a generally nice kind of chap 
You would probably only encounter this forum side of me if you were to say meet me in a working environment.

I'm probably similar to how I am in real life... as I have become more argumentative and sure of myself in person, I have also gone that way on forums. I do get paranoid more online that people will misinterpret what I am trying to say though.

I agree with all of the above you forgot old git too.
But all the above never showed when you worn your pink hat on cam, we had a good laughs in those times
I am not that good an actor to be anything but myself, although I have different sides to my personality in the chatrooms my laid back, have fun and a laugh side come out generally in the forums my more thoughtful side seems to come out more.
Maybe in the chatrooms people can see my face and see my reactions where in here maybe I am more cautious as to not offend and that isnt anywhere in my personality to offend people.
But I let people decide who I am.

I've not got a clue whether i come across as the same in real life as I do in cyberspace. I guess it would only be the people, I've met often enough through both mediums, to feel comfortable with could have an opinion.

Not sure how I come across on the forums as no one has told me yet....... Not sure how I would differ in real life, my views would not change one jot, however, I often do not debate matters with people in groups, as it is often more about who can shout the loudest! But here, that can not happen.
What I do find interesting is how one builds up a mental picture of people from what, how and where they post in the forums.

I don`t know myself half the time, how`s anyone else expected to :confused:
Generally I`m a very upbeat person, like a giggle in the chat room and the people we have met at socials etc seem to think I`m ok.
As for the forum I only pop in now and again and leave my twopennerth on the side so I`m not sure many could gauge my personality from that
