Something about a really nice smelling aftershave that sends me all shivery / tingly all over - or is that just me? lol
Any thoughts on this? Or maybe I'm just unique :lol2:
What aftershave do you use? Does perfume send you weak at the knees? wink
I use lynx Africa redface despite it's reputation I have received compliments about how nice I smell. Long live the lynx effect?
I do wonder what scents attract women though.......
As for perfume - I find some perfume is a turn on (as long as it's in moderation!). When I smell perfume that one of my meets has used it takes me back to the meet mmmmmm
Mike
i just think.
'dirty bitch, i know what you've been up too!' lol
Molton Brown - Singosari mens fragrance does it for me every time, its yummy biggrin
I'm a Izzy Mikake man myself !!
Smelling good is important, especially on the first meet ;)
I have a few favorites, my current one being 'only the brave' from diesel.
Others in my collection include
Burberry - Touch
Gaultier - Le Homme
Hugo Boss - Boss
Calvin Klein - Obsession

Aftershave in moderation too! Nothing worse than being round a man who smells like he's bathed in the stuff blink

Agree on Gaultier and Hugo boss
One of Paco Rabanne's too but I can't remember what it's called now. Smells lovely though, masculine smile

try mine.
most seem to like it.
Though I have a beard, I shave around it for neatness but don't use aftershave. I use Lush shaving cream and other Lush products and also Floris products, a perfumier in Jermyn Street.
I might try the Moulton Brown......

Today i was mainly wearing Eau Bugger- i cheeky fragrance which is best if you don't apply it in the car, on the way to the pub, as you go over a speed bump, so it kind of spills over you so its a little strong :rotflmao:

mmmmmm Floris - i can tell you have taste icon_

They usually have sales in July and I try to pick fresh supplies on my rare visits to the Big Smoke.
As to taste, bits of me have been tasted from time to time, I hope with approval

I love lynx on men, especially Africa!
Years ago, my partner used to wear Worth Pour Homme, you don't see if very often now, but if I ever smell it, I am taken back to the 80s and those heady says of horny sex in the honeymoon period!!!
I'm quite partial to 212 Sexy now, but nothing beats just a light smattering of aftershave or cologne to let that natural smell of a man shine through!
All men's sweat is different, and the pheromones given off to attract others are different, just as women have different tastes in the way that men smell.
Luckily, the natural smell of both my partner and lover are devine to me!! I love the smell of them on me, I crave it........
I like citrusy scent in a perfume, like Jo Malone lime, basil and mandarin or Chanel chance eau fraiche.
Lost my sense of smell a few years back
Miss the smell of any aftershave...........and a freshly showered body hump
Never dated a woman who wears after shave, but i guess there's a first time fer everything.
Personally I just like to smell like me, I don't want to be attracting too much attention.
Well, what with the beard and whatnot, my aftershave has become almost redundant ... I mean, have you ever tried putting that shit on your nutsack? (just don't)
Seriously though, on my shelf I do have a few colognes - Joop (tacky, but I like it), Hugo Boss "just different" and L'eau D'Issey ... the latter being my favourite.
Someone bought me a bottle of Floris once but I thought it smelt like mouldy twigs.
I have a ridiculous number of perfumes in my collection. I could never identify a favourite as I just couldn't pick one.
As far as aftershaves go, it's really important to me that a man smells good.
Again, there are numerous ones that I like, but my current favourite is One Million by Paco Rabanne.
Oh - the reason that smells & scents take us back in our minds and remind us of previous experiences / events is that the olfactory bulb (the bit of the brain that has the sense of smell) is very close (physically) to the hippocampus, where our memories are stored lol
Issey Miyake
Issey Miyake Intense
Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male
Jean Paul Gaultier Kokorico
CK One
CK Be
Polo black / blue etc
probably too much, but I like different opnes at different times of the day, depending if I am going to work or going out :-) if going out its gotta JPG :-)
Personally I would wear most stuff as it generally smells ok. Used to wear citrusey ones whereas now I prefer the muskier ones. Gotta say I prefer aftershave to cologne or EDT now as I am a bit older. But on a date or something I would prefer to wear something not so 'common'. I would like my smell to be distinctive and peculiar...in a good way.
A little bit of Tom Ford on a clean scrubbed body...
