My own fault as I shouldn't have been skiving during working hours!!

Sorry to hear about your sunburn, i did that 2 years ago so i know how it feels. I could think of couple of things to rub into your sunburn  :P
Maybe lots of aftersun lotion would be best though.
well there is something thats supposed to be good for the skin, not sure how good itll be for sunburn tho . . . innocent
im sure therell be no shortage of guys volunteering to supply - not sure how many will want to rub it in tho lol
Want me n emma to rub sum aftersun in hun ????? xxxx

ive found that is the best stuff.
its expensive stuff ( £13 per tube) .. but well worth it... i alway use it for burns and rashes
Jiggle
is it this bad?

louxxx ouch!!!!
The Aloe Vera is good but if you are stuck, mix equal parts water and white vinegar into a spray bottle. Stand in the tub and spray yourself down (careful its COLD), let it dry, wait twenty mins and repeat twice more.
Let it stay on the skin for about an hour, then you can take a shower to rinse it off. The vinegar takes the sting out and helps to turn the burn to brown! Has worked for me and the missus every time.
Hope that you didnt get too burnt, you need to watch out for severe chills and possible headache. Could be sun poisoning and then you need a urgent visit to the A&E.
Would be more than glad to come and help out!!!  biggrin
Thanks guys.
I have had a cool bath with lavender oil then rubbed aloe gel everywhere I could reach!
Just curled up trying to get rid of the headache now.
All I feel like is for someone to come and look after me and make it go away! Im being such a wimp!

that looks reallyy painful
Have to agree with ciscocat,
I got burnt BADLY a couple of years ago. The worst of it was 2 days later when it itched like mad UNDER the skin, in other words impossible to scratch. Vinegar in a spray bottle not only brought instant relief, it also seemed to cure it.
Type into google "vinegar+uses" ........versatile piece of kit

errrm will i do? redface
Bet your headache is dehydration... losing fluid from the sunburn? May want to try some water before bed to keep hydration up.
I personally use watergel for sunburn smile
If you can get hold of some natural live yoghurt
spread it on thick over the burned area let it dry then go to bed
In the morning no pain no itching and best of all you can go into the sun without it hurting
one drawback is it dosent smell nice but it works
Hope that helps

Yeah - I agree with The Shadow.
You should have been wearing a much skimpierer top
Well I think that the person who I was talking to till last night and who left me so turned on I couldnt sleep should be made to be my slave and apply my aloe gel!!
It is his fault I was so tired that I fell asleep in the sun! (not including the presentation I had to write that doesnt count) He shouldnt be so good at getting me worked up!
So you know who you are. Come take your punishment and pamper me!!!

Just in case they get uhh cold feet...
On my way mistress worship :worship: :worship:

Hmmmm maybe i went about this the wrong way.
Since people seem so keen it would be more of a punishment not to let him be my slave. So the rest of you who have offered can make an orderly cue while he stands in a corner and faces the wall!

Mmmmm. I really must get me one of those time travelly/transporter thingys
Went to work, couldn't reach parts of my back to put sun screen asked the guys I work with to do it
The reaction was ...............................................
............................................................................
........................................................................... they freaked out.
None of them would One said his wife would kill him, One said sorry but he really couldn't do it!! In total I asked 4 men (I dont work with any girls) before one finally did it and then it was at arms length and so quick it was in no way rubbed in properly.
I found the behaviour very strange. Anyone agree or am I missing something??
On the plus side I decided that it was too nice and found a secluded place (benefits of working in 1500 acres of wood and grass land) and sun bathed topless all day!! No I didn't burn my boobs - I was careful to put sun block on them!!

Secondly - if you had asked for someone to rub your cream in in the GFZ we would have had queues stretching around SH Towers!! :eeek: :eeek: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :rascal: :rascal:
I did hear that an old remedy for sunburn is to mix up a bowl of porridge oats, luke warm to cold, and apply that to the affected areas, it relieves the burning but also it does something to the collagen in the skin preventing excessive wrinkling...........................but i gather i may be too late rolleyes
wot with all this porridge, yoghurt chocolate milk (would feel quite nice), and no takers!
when i was a kid i lived in australia, we had something called solarcaine (a sort of aftersun) which wa excellent at colling and healing sunburn. I doubt very much its available here. in the event that we ran out I recall that my mum used to slice up tomatoes and rub them on me. i am asuming this has the same effect as the solarcaine.
