Think you are confusing things a bit, you can PM ladies or anyone else from the forum. You cant start a private message in the chat room, which is currently a different area of the site...
Obviously anything considered inpolite or overly suggestive can get you in trouble with the mods if the lady concerned complains.
if your answering an ad...then obviously thats ok....as long as you have looked at the requirements of the said ad......of course you can still pm some 1 but its a waste of your time and theirs.......
pms to members which you dont know would be just downright wierd.....
