I'm afraid if I'd really have felt that way about a boss.... when he/she had started to embaris me I'd have said "well its true, if you dont like it then fire me!"
Thankfully before I became a government artist I'd only ever had one bad boss who didnt understand how crap it was being a worker and treated like a wanker... they had a HR department that always over-rulled the department heads due to loads of psyco-bable-bulshit tests.
Every other company I worked for the IT director had ultimate hire-fire over the HR department and chose people that fitted the department not some psyco-bable-bulshit tests that ultimately want robots and not people that work hard and dont say yes when they know what is requested is a load of shit!!!!! thats probably why EDS and Andersons and Crapita et. al. take the uk convernment for so much money it would make your eyes water and even when they fuck up we still pay while they get rich and our income tax goes up to pay US companys and the CSA, IR, HMC&E get slated when its down to stupid contracts by incompetant contracts between HMG and the US companys.... oooops controversial!
