I cancelled my account with T-Mobile, and went to Orange.
Mistake. mad
This began last wednesday.
Since then I have been given conflicting information, by everyone that I have spoken to at Orange.
Twice, not once but twice I cancelled the Nokia 6630 in favour of the Sanyo S750.
I have been given different delivery dates and times, as to when I would get the phone.
Today was the last straw.
I rang them eariler, the customer support guy I spoke with, told me that proof of ID was needed.
I in turn said that that was provided last Thursday, he then says he will transfer me to the relevant dept that deals with dispatch of the phones.
I tell him that I received the phone this morning.
It was the bleeding Nokia 6630 the type that I had cancelled. :x
He then said that I would not get a replacement phone until tuesday or wednaes day next week.
I cancelled my contract, went back to T-mobile. With whom I have not had any problems since I started using them 5 years ago.
I get two new phones next tuesday morning.(got two lines)
PS.
The reason for change, was to go 3G and video calling (Orange buy a phone and get one free). I did'nt get the voucher that was suppose to be included for the second phone either.
Rant over.
On the other hand i have had problems with T-Mobile. When i set up my account over the internet, i requested insurance for it. They phoned me back about a week later to get my direct debit details and i gave them as i needed D/D to get insurance. So, was all going well, then i lost my phone....
....I phoned up T-Mobile and they blocked my phone and gave me the number for insurance company as i never recieved details on it through the post. So i phoned up the insurance company and they had no record of my details! mad
So i was chasing up with T-Mobile who admitted to making the mistake and after 2hrs+ in total on the phone to them they still haven't sorted it. Fortunately I found my phone again and managed to get it unblock. I found it in my Bathrobe pocket redface ....
So i think any network you are with, some people get problems and it makes everyone frustrated. Oh Well.....

Was with T mobile
Changed to O2 to tget a nokia6230 (because it wasnt available with Tmobile).
Used nearly all my free minutes on hold trying to get through to O2 to try and get my account working properly mad for 2 months!!
Their whole thing is to be able to use their web site to solve problems.... which wasnt working either :x :x
Fucking hate O2...cant wait to be able to get away from the money grabbing useless sacks of shit !!!!
Sorry T-Mobile...... I have learnt my lesson... will be back soon
Thats all I have to say about that
OH S**t,
Have I got problems then, I'm with O2, can never get any sense out of them, they keep cancelling the DD, and then tell me it's my fault, and not only does their site not work correctly, their Customer Service Department can't or wont help.
For my sins I also have Orange, and they are going from bad to worse, I live very close to the M25 and M1 motorways, and every evening from 17:30 to 20:30, all I ever get is network busy.
Thanks for cheering me up guys.

O2, oh my god, what a bunch of useless twerps! Never have I had so many problems with a company till I signed up with them! Their website very rarely seems to work, they charge you double on your bill and then can't explain why, or they don't charge you at all for a couple of months then you get 3 bills all in one go!!! whats even more annoying is that they make all the mistakes but you have to call them at a charge of 50p per minute to get anything they have done wrong sorted out! I've lost count of the money it has cost me to get their mistakes sorted. And they never call you back when their systems are down like they promise to do, so you then have to call again and start right from the beginning with your problem, which 100% of the time they are the cause of!
Oh the joys of modern technology!!
Most companies have 'retention deals' which you only get offered when you quite firmly say you will cancel your contract to go with someone else. Of the various companies I've tried, orange are a pain but less worse than most others. Orange and Vodaphone officially have the best coverage last time I checked - and they are the only two that can get reliable reception where I live.

Sorry bout keeping you on hold, had so many calls for O2 could'nt screw around with anyone to much.
As I have said before, our company which repairs computers, gets 20 to 40 calls each day for O2.
You might understand that we get a tad pissed off with it.

When you do leave o2 be careful about disconnection. They try every trick in the book to stop you from disconnecting - starting with the computers are down through to anything else you can think of. We ended up sending a recorded delivery letter telling them we'd see them in court.
Long o2 story - blah blah blah - lies from services customer bloke - found him out - hung up - rang back for o2 supervisor -blah blah blah - whilst I was talking to the supervisor from my landline lying o2bloke rings my mobile in panic - found out!!
Result - free WAP (think for ever).
lol
Mind you just had a two week long problem and they have done everything to resolve it and even   called me back three times when they said they would! My account records must warn them of me! redface

i have to say that when i worked for a mobile phone retailer the company we had the least problem with is orange........
i have been with them for 5 yrs and not had many problems at all.... in fact only problem i had recently with them was that i went all techo-nerdy and tried to download the stars wars trailer and the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy trailer.... i couldn but i had a women with the mosy sexy voice talk me thru it... lol redface surprisedops:  should have asked her to marry me...

Phones not to get in maidstone don't buy a 3 works fine in shop get anywhere near mote park or the police radio tower and the things go scatie.
Vodaphone works fine in town go near coxheath or detling your lucky to get 1 bar.
T- mobile put a new mast near the radio club too near we blew it up with our output power we did warn them. so T mobiles don't work well in loose at mo.
Switch yer mobile off and go to the pub . If its important they'll ring you at home .

I have to agree - started off with an Orange PAYG then moved to Vodaphone mostly to get a free Nokia 8310, didn't have too much trouble with them really, then moved to O2 ... what a goddamn mistake that was! Loadsa problems with them - couldn't get photo messaging configured properly, it'd work a few days then suddenly stop working, website was completely useless - they never ever replied to emails - called the helpline and that was premium rate and they'd keep you on hold for ages ... soon as the 12 mth tie-in was up, I cancelled and moved back to Orange.
Don't have any problems with them ... and got a really good deal through work ... free SPV 500 phone, txts are 3p, photo-mesageing just 10p, calls really cheap ...
AND I downloaded both Star Wars trailers no trouble biggrin ... though to be honest, the refresh rate on the phone can't keep up so the images aren't that clear when there's lots of movement ... camera is great though!
