I mean , erm, generally... not me! Oh no... i evenhave my posh shoes all buffed up and shiny...
(though men do travel a lot lighter.... )
c'mon fella's stick up for me here!!!
And I forgot to pack my man-boobs bra.... you wait FB...
I looked at the thread title and thought it was about fashion tips for Linford Christie lol
I have no bags to pack as unfortunately I can't go this time, but I would just like to remind someone who IS going and who who hasn't yet packed everything he needs...
Marms! Take that "While you were out" card to the parcel office before you set off for the munch!
If you've lost the card, jot down the tracking number in the PM and take some ID with you. smile
Have a great time all. biggrin

Yeh men pack lite because we have to carry the little ladies luggage too wink
Plus most men arn't too bothered about wearing the same pants for more than a day, so that means we only need a toothbrush, which fits in the shirt pocket.
I have been known to be vain and pack more than 2 changes of clothes... but then I felt compelled to wear them all cos I went to the effort of packing them.!
Nothing nicer than getting off the plane and not having to wait for a suitcase (I also own a 120litre rucksack for those trips where I need a change of clothes)

And I'd add... if it's a signed for item, you only have a week to collect it if it is a Recorded delivery, (3 weeks for Special delivery...) But take a utility bill AND a driving licence/passport, especially if its a Special Dly.
And they close earlier on a saturday in most places!
Postie what are you on about lol

sorry postie I'm just as bad, generally pack more than one outfit (dunno why cos I still look like me whatever I wear) so I've got a choice depending on my mood when I arrive.
Swoooon.....Postie in his munch pants and man-boobs bra lol
As I am not going to the munch, but I am going to the Manchester social on Sunday, I shall describe what I will be taking to that:
Something to wear (as yet undecided but definately involving stockings with holes rolleyes )
Change of clothes for morning after
Bit of make-up (OK, the only bit I've got  ) + hairbrush etc.
Bit of cash (not much cos I now know how to use a cash machine :bounce: ) in new wallet that I found in a bin redface
Bottle or two of Baileys for hotel room consumption lol
Fluffy cushion
Jinty the Rug (safe cos Lep is down south    )
Sorted

Yeah, I do have a name for one of my cushions (Humphrey) but he is shy and does not want to attend social events. I can't think of a suitable name for the cushion who is out-going enough to come with me to Manchester.... maybe I should think of one
Geoffrey the cushion - it is a boy cushion, isn't it? biggrin
Awwwwwwww bless rolleyes i dont mind you hijacking my thread and posting for a name lol

:laughabove:
Excellent! The next few added to the collection could be zippy, bungle or george! lol
Are we assuming that all Blue's cushions are male then? lol

Well, it's a creamy coloured fluffy cushion that doesn't look at all like a boy..... maybe a girl's name would be better............. maybe, as it likes the Village so much, that it is a tranny cushion...... maybe it could be called Geoffrey when it is at home interacting with normal people, but have a girl's name just for the Village :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:
George was deffinately a girl on the programme "Rainbow"

Yes, good name....... Georgie for short lol
I think it should be called something like Dolly...
It looks like dolly the sheep,
Dolly Parton is an LGBT icon
It's pretty and fluffy....... just like the cuchion...
<cough>
Erm...... ok, maybe not that last bit, but I vote Dolly!
bolt
Damn! I'm too late to suggest a name for the cushion!
I was going to say................
Chimpy!
bolt
OK, the cream cushion is Georgie, and the white one that lives on my rocking chair is Dolly..... I have some others too but there's no way any of them are being called Chimpy  lol
Now, let's give Debz her thread back
