There is a few strip bars but i didnt go in as the looked very similar to clip joints back in london

Paris is far too good to waste on this type of activity! Keep it for true love, as it lives up to its name as the city for lovers.
You won't have time to get around its splendours if you waste it in the tourist traps.(Save that for Amsterdam) The Moulin Rouge is an institution--not erotic, but an (expensive) one-off. Do beware of the clubs and bars around Pigalle as they really can be clip joints. Avoid the Bois de Boulogne, like the plague, at night as it is seriously dangerous.
Have a great time and wear out just your feet.

That depends if you want erotica type clubs or just nightclubs?
The Champs Elysee's has a few bars and nightclubs...and a particularly good Latin American Club about halfway down...
I second MikeC...if you want erotica then go to Pigalle but be aware it's not the safest part of Paris, especially at night!!
