Paying for sex

I said thats not something I would ever consider (prostitutes /escorts/gigolos) and neither would Mr B.
She said that in effect we paid for sex when we swung (swang, swinged?? ) so it made us (almost) the same as those who chose to pay for prostitutes.
When I asked her to clarify, she said that because of the extra sexy lingerie, love toys, clothes, shoes, meals, drinks, hotels etc that we shelled out for, thatb we wouldnt necessarily have bought, in essence that was us paying to have sex with other people.
I must admit I was a little taken aback by her opinions, and thought that maybe because she was vanilla then she didnt quite 'get' the lifestyle. But like I said shes one of my bestest mates and I love her to bits, differences and all)
What are your thoughts on her opinions?

OK, at the risk of igniting another incendiary bomb - I would be more concerned about paying for company than paying for sex.
And being a swinger isn't either. Any money spent is about making the most of an event - nice clothes, a meal etc.
I have been known to buy a new outfit to go out for a birthday meal with my Mum biggrin

Goodness knows what that would imply about me on that logic :D

Phuckers, if you want to be seen as someone who pays for/is paid for sex, that's your prerogative. I doubt many people would see swinging as paying for sex though - as the responses on this thread indicate. I also think that if you do hold that opinion, you're less likely to get to meet people, if they think you're under the impression that you're paying them for sex.
