WTF??
Why the hell do we have a search option for minors??
Is this not an ADULT swinging site?
Oooppss, sorry its just a glitch right? Well its a f*ckin huge one that should have NEVER been made and for my money is prolly as big an issue as the postcode balls up!!
So whats next??.......I cant wait......Ooooh the excitement

I noticed that as well
in the search options the age goed down to 5
something has to be done and quick
is ther a check to top kids signing in on here,
I must say i never thought about it before

yep, kind of a biggie that one! can you imagine the furore a completely out of context screenshot of that could cause in certain circles?
surely if the sites being recoded from top to bottom, things like this can be tested on an offline server for a while with a dummy database before it goes live? i'm sure the mods are adept at spotting this kind of stuff, and would save some fairly embarassing and potentially damaging mistakes like this being made?

There wouldn't be any results if someone searched for minors because on your original log in screen you have to put in your month and year of birth. Anyone giving an age under 18 wouldn't be able to sign in - I hope confused

but agreed, the options should be removed before someone does what Neil mentioned and takes a screen shot out of context

Its like all the boy and girl nicks in the chatroom...(the pervy one not the origional)...
Were never allowed in the old chatroom but as the new one is un moderated then its a free for all....
Constant pm's are also the norm as well rolleyes

God this is crazy![/quote] We used to get under age in the old room as well but............ Once discovered we would ban the ip immediately so they can no longer get into the chatroom.. Cant be done now.... :cry:

I've not noticed that, as I've not been looking for it, but after reading your thread, I have just signed up under another ID to test the system, and it doesn't allow for anyone born after 1987 to register, so anyone joining now, would have to be at least 18 years old, so although it may look bad, and I have to agree it most certainly does, in THEORY a minor could not join the site.
That is not to say they won't, just by faking their age/year of birth as some have already done in the past even on the old SH.
I once chatted in pm to a young lad who claimed to be only 15 years old :shock: evil

Of course I reported him and he was very quickly removed from the room, but unless we go down the road of having an adult verification system using credit/debit cards, I imagine there is little that can be done to ensure a minor will NEVER access these type of sites sad
